Women are allowed to talk about their periods and some are disgustingly open about it (like some stand up comics), but no one is required to listen to them. That being said, my gfs never had any compunction of stating they have a period or that they are feeling poorly because of it. I offered them my sympathies, sometimes they liked their belly to be massaged or something else to make it easier on them. I doubt most men do any less.

From a woman’s perspective, I think these are reasonable expectations:

I expect to be able to tell my husband when I’m on my period. As in, “No, I don’t want to go swimming today, I’m on my period.” Or, “Hey, can you grab me some ibuprofen from the cabinet? I’m having awful cramps.” I expect him to handle that information maturely and not wince just because I said the word “period.”
I won’t ever give him the gory details purely for shock value. That’s immature. I don’t like it when men discuss their nasty shits for fun and comedy, so I also hold myself to that standard.
If I’m experiencing medical problems, I want to be able to tell my husband about it. For example, if my period is heavier than normal and I’m worried, I will tell him. If he was having diarrhea to the point where he was dehydrated, I would hope he feels comfortable telling me that. I wouldn’t be grossed out if he’s telling me for medical reasons. I think it’s important to know when your spouse is sick and we should all handle that information maturely.

And it is important to be able to discuss periods from a medical perspective. If I have a daughter, I want her to feel comfortable telling both of us when she’s having a medical issue regarding her period. I would be very turned off and upset if my husband winced purely at the mention of the word “period.” I’d also be upset if our child had diarrhea and my husband winced at the word “diarrhea.”

Yes, periods are gross. The same way feces is gross. But we have to be able to discuss those things when it’s appropriate. That being said, it is gross when people use it for shock value/humor.

The idea that people being grossed out by blood and other body fluids is a "sign of misogyny in society", is in of itself a sign of misandry. It's attacking and delegitimizing what men are allowed to be comfortable with, just because they are men.

It's also incredibly hypocritical, when there are certainly plenty of women who get crossed out by cum or even attack men for also being crossed out by cum. The part you miss there is that little girls all over the world are abused and raped for simply having periods. Many live in period poverty where they don't have access to hygiene products. Periods in some cultures are considered dirty, sinful, and shameful. Little girls are married off to grown men at the first sign of a period to become breeders.

Not to mention, some women experience dysphoria on their periods which can lead to severe mental health crisis or even attempted suicide due to the flux of hormones.

Yes, they are both natural. But there is a simple difference between those two... Let's say a man and a woman are in a room alone. If women start to bleed then this has nothing to do with the man. If a man on the other hand gets a boner this is most probably related to the woman in the room.

Comparing a period to an erection is so beyond stupid I need to believe you're a troll. A period is something that happens to healthy women every month is a distict period of pain and discomfort. Erections are (not always but at least mostly) a sign of sexual arousal. Some women openly talk about their menstruation, others avoid the topic. This is a stigma women enforce on themselves. Some of my female friends have told me in details about their menstruation and others have never brought up the topic, men have 0 blame in this topic.
