The underlying issue is that at the end of the day, most men believe in the widespread monogamy paradigm and have expectations to match. Even if not applied always to relationships. This is to say that while acknolwedging women can be a bit more selective, we should still see the vast majority of men having regular sexual access to their rough SMV rank equivalent, whatever form that access takes.

I think women are undecided. Not sold. Wanna see how they feel as they stop needing to trade sex for anything else. Maybe women are very selective and a large portion of men are unfuckable. So be it. Can't force a woman to fuck something she doesn't like. So let's see how it shakes out, and however that is, society and men will have to adapt. Any preconceived male sexual expectations about pairing rates, relative values of who pairs with whom, or anything else are by definition sexual entitlement.

The right to NOT fuck someone you don't want to, for whatever reason that is, always trumps any desire/need/however you wanna phrase it to have a partner.

I don’t agree with your math. Presumably you are saying since only a quarter of the population isn’t overweight then only a quarter of 18-25 is not overweight. I think there is a substantially higher percentage of 18-25 who aren’t overweight than the general population. I would guess at least 50%, maybe 75% of 18-25 is not overweight. So the real number is more like 6 - 9%

But I get your point. The number of normal weight young women is relatively low percentage of the overall population.

Only 3.28% of population fits both of these and if "attractive" is also a criteria, which is anyone who is a 7 or above then it comes down to 0.0984%.

I don't think that is accurate at all. It's blown way out of proportion here, and unfortunately the men here just passively let such claims slide. If most of the guys here are younger than 25, it makes sense, because anyone (male & female) under 25 thinks that it is all downhill after that. And for guys older than that, there's not really any sense in trying to talk kids into anything. But for most anyone over 25, that isn't their reality. Ask women (who aren't a neurotic mess) who date over 30. They still have options the average dude will never dream of even with a lifetime of leveling up.

And there's your misunderstanding. Men don't think they deserve these women. Men are absolutely fine with average women. Men are just pointing out what traits make women more attractive. Do you really think a 35 year old man won't settle for a 30 year old woman? Of course he would under the right circumstances. But if he had to choose between the exact same woman at 30 vs 25, he's going to choose her at 25.
I can be totally fine with my Honda Civic while still appreciating a Lambo. Average men aren't going around claiming they deserve Lambos.

Both men and women think that they are entitled to more or something better than their current condition. One life has one entitlement and that is one death. Everything else that is made or gained comes from how far a body is willing to go to achieve it.

Ok fair, but that’s also the case for men too. We already know what women consider low value.

That means that even if they think of themselves as average (5/10), If women don’t think you’re a 5 then you’re not a 5.

I think all this proves is that a lot of men and women on the dating market are just poor choices for any type of long term relationship. I think each gender spends too much time pointing at flaws instead of just doing what they can to make the overall dating experience better.

The only issue I have with modern day dating as far as the sociological implications go is that the online world has made below average looking women think that they are much, much more attractive than they actually are.

There’s a level of delusion there that men can never match because of the dynamic between the sexes and online dating.

In fairness, it’s partially men’s fault, the amount of men who will degrade themselves and people please to get sex is so high there’s no reason for them to think otherwise.

your math doesn't make sense. if 3.3% of women are 18-25 and not overweight/obese, how are only 0.1% of women a 7 or higher and also young/not overweight? men find way more women attractive than 1 in 33, especially if they are all young women who aren't fat to begin with. also top 20% of men is dishonest because women have age filters too. so they want the top 20% of their target demographic, not 20% of all men 18-99. a guy who is 6ft+, makes 6 figures AND is attractive and confident and within their age range is 0.0x% of the male population.

the reality is that most women don't qualify for the man they want and even those who do will not have an easy time locking him down because that guy is desired by lots of other women. it's not just young attractive women with low n-counts who want that kind of guy either. on top of that most women don't just want a top x% partner, they also want him to be loyal, treat them extremely well, put in lots of effort and a bunch of other things. a guy with lots of options has little incentive to do that, he'll find somebody who doesn't require X Y and Z because he can.

most guys are fine dating women their age. most guys aren't looking for a swimsuit model. you're taking a small minority of men who have high standards and compare it to a much more sizeable amount of women. personally i don't care about whatever standards women have. i'm just amused when i see women who are 30-35+, have been around the block, perhaps have a baby in tow, proclaim that they know their worth now and won't settle for less than X Y and Z. i mean good luck i guess but if they're putting that stuff out there (like on social media) people get to have opinions about it. i'm sure if fat neckbeards would post tik toks about wanting a hot virgin wife only would get mocked by women too.

The Wall only means that raw, visceral sexual attractiveness of women drops fairly fast. But what that means in practice is very culture and environment dependent. For one, with technology, the Wall happens later and the decline is less steep. In addition, as women are less inclined to date much older men now, it isn't as if post-wall women are fully competing with pre-wall women for the same men. Thus less of an impact on actual options.
