TL;DR. I skipped to the end. I'm probably going to get down voted in to oblivion with this - I don't think it's cool to keep pressing pre-attached women. Seddit isn't a tool to hook up with chicks with boyfriends. Seducing women should be beneficial to both parties. An f-close could have had potential to ruin her relationship with her boyfriend. You convinced her to let her guard down and then tried to take advantage. This kind of thing gives seddit a bad name. Congrats on your abilities for sure - I think you did great. But be the good guy and pick single targets! I look forward to reading more from you!

Edit: OP clarified in a comment that he stopped escalating physically after her second mention of her boyfriend. Banter was kept up for fun. I dig.

Stop transferring your own fear of a girl you're with cheating on you onto an innocuous story. Or better yet, realise from the story that if you don't seduce your girlfriend/wife, and make sure that you act in an attractive fashion, there are many many far more pushy guys than OP in the world and you'll possibly lose out to them. It's the way things work. OP even said he didn't try kiss her after she mentioned her boyfriend the second time...that's pretty damn decent in this world compared to what can and does happen often.

Don't fear it; accept it, embrace it, and improve your life to handle it. This isn't /r/relationships ffs.

Wow this place is getting sad. The guy writes an awesome field report with detailed interactions and the comments with more votes are bashing him for "trying to make her cheat on her boyfriend". People, and women are people, are capable of making choices. Even if she slept with him, it was her choice.

I wouldn't do it, but why do you judge guys who hit on girls with boyfriends? If she cheats, the problem is not the new guy, it's their relationship.

I like this approach very much and I find it all in good humor. Even prior to you finding out that she had a boyfriend she was flirting with you and she was allowing you to escalate and keep it moving forward. Sure she tells you she has a boyfriend but if she didn't want to talk to you or thought you were actually creepy she would have cut it off far prior. Girls are smart and can think for themselves and when she wanted to be friends and you wanted benefits it was a joke but it had truth to it as well. I don't find anything wrong with that and if she didn't want to talk to you she would have cut it off right then and there.
