The way I think about it is that women will either see you as low status (i.e. someone they don't want to have over, who you don't need to apologize to, and who has no women) or high status (someone who should come over, who you should apologize to when you do something bad, and who has women).

When you bring a girl with you or kiss a girl, and other girls see you leading and successfully making moves like that, they know that you have already qualified as high status to the other girl. It is bandwagon appeal. If you successfully passed all the stupid tests of the other girl, they feel like you have done the same with them.

Additionally, when AFC's see you making out with a girl you just met, they will probably also try to get with that girl because they assume that she is ready to go. Women may make a similar assumption, assuming you are down because you were down with another girl. I have a friend who gets laid pretty often, and sometimes by girls who have a boyfriend, simply because they know he is an option and lots of other girls have sex with him too.

Some of them love the drama of "all the other bitches." They love to put themselves above all the other girls, saying that they're not like those crazy bitches, they're so much better. It gives them validation.

This isn't always true. I have a lot of girl friends, more than I have guy friends. I'm in college and I actually avoid being around girls.

When I'm around girls they're hanging off my shoulder. They're wanting to have a drink with me. They're just friends, but other girls who don't know me think I'm a man whore and close themselves off to me.

It sucks man, I've had girls that have straight up me "I'm not talking to you, you've hooked up with so many girls in my sorority", when in reality I have never done so, I'm just really close with a good amount of girls in that sorority.

I think besides the ordinary answer that it gives you social value, i.e. they want what others seem to want, I have another perspective. It could be that they liked you in the first place, but either were too shy and/or were hoping you would make the move. When you are with another girl, this gives them enough activation energy, so to speak, to overcome the difficulties they thought were difficulties in the first place. Now all of a sudden, talking to you is less hard because losing you is worse.

Girls don't just judge guys for their looks like most of us, so it takes awhile for them to feel you out. She is trying to understand some things such as is this man really the man he is presenting himself to be, is he masculine enough, is he strong, what's is his vibe like etc...figuring this out can take some time. And if every girl took that time for every guy that came up to them they would be exhausting too much of their energy. The reward probably wouldn't be worth the gain.
