Your fallacy is in thinking that all girls are the same. Some girls react positive to one thing, and other girls react positively to another. There is no other answer to this question other than the fact that people aren't entirely similar, and respond differently to different things. What more do you need to know?

I've had a Tinder Profile and I've put normal pictures (holidays, doing activities, me and my car, etc). I've written a funny but detailed description and I was getting about 6-7 out of 10 numbers. Some ended up in sex. Some ended up in just going for a walk. Some ended up in my pile of forgotten conversations on WhatsApp.

Then I've changed my Tinder description to something like "I'm here looking just for sex, no commitments, no drama. Happy to pay for hotel room and dinner".

I kid you not that to my surprise I am getting every match's numbers. That 10/10. And not only that I'm getting all their numbers but my match rate per day increased too.

I was using Tinder the wrong way. The hard way. Wish I have done this from the beginning as it would of saved me a lot of time in endless conversations going nowhere.

Then I've tried the same trick on Bumble and I am not getting matches anymore there.

One of my super-handsome friends always bangs hotties from tinder non-stop (like 3-4 hot girls per week) and he never goes on a 'date'. Typically, they match, they exchange like 2 messages and then he invites them round to his place. She turns up, and they are banging within a few minutes. (this is why I always laugh when people talk about how you need 'game' for tinder lol)

But also a fair few girls are gonna want to be taken out so they feel less like a whore. However, this would usually be a drink at a bar rather than a meal tbh. I guess that is a little unusual, especially for young girls

Honestly it kinda depends on the girl. Personally I think meeting up in public for the first time is a good safety measure for everyone involved. But like someone else said it kinda depends on the culture of the place you’re at.

I think asking someone for drinks rather than dinner is casual enough for a pre-hook up thing, although tbh I wouldn’t consider getting dinner as “weird” either but that’s just me.

Maybe it partly depends how old the girl is and how good looking you are. I tend to agree with everyone that girls aren't all the same but I also feel like the norm is you match with someone, you meet up with them for "date", then you go from there. Everyone's tinder experience isn't exactly the same either.

I matched with one girl who mage it perfectly clear she wasn't into hooking up but she was super cool and hot so I kept talking with her because I was still interested in her. She started to show less interest but still asked me to come over to her place one night. I still expected her to keep with the initial expectations so we watched a movie while cuddling and I left after a few hours. After that she completely ghosted me. The only thing that I could think of is that she actually wanted to hook up after-all and was disappointed that it didn't happen. She should have just said something! Anyway I think a general rule is that you shouldn't expect consistency when it comes to meeting girls on tinder.

Honestly, I want to meet a girl before trying to sleep with her. Why? Because most of the time the girl is less attractive in person than in her pictures, and I decide I'm not even interested in trying to sleep with her.

By the way, there was an experiment some YouTube channel did a while back. It was the "Whatever" channel. After he matched with a bunch of women, he's message them "Hey, do you want to have sex". 2.5% of women said yes. 6.5% of women unmatched him. 9.5% of women said "no". It just depends on the person and there are a huge variety of people out there.

As for the roommates; people that room together for a while tend to be more similar than different. I have a feeling that anyone that wasn't of the same opinion moved out pretty quickly or was borderline anyways and just swung to the opinion of those around them (alternatively, there is also the "public" and "private" facing opinions of people, so while they may all agree, there may be one that doesn't, but agrees anyways, because others in the group were of that opinion).

It's difficult to determine the position of someone on such matter without a bit of interaction, so while you could be 1 for 10 with a direct approach, it's also possible that your chances are significantly better overall with a simple date first (or the other way around depending on factors). However, you could be getting completely different types of girls with each approach too. So, it really comes down to the type you want and what works best on that type the majority of the time.

In my experience, I think it's more normal than not.... Well, maybe the food part is a bit less normal; it's usually just drinks or something. Everyone's different but I'd say most women are going to feel more comfortable meeting in public first before you or her just go into some random stranger's place. Not saying that it doesn't happen but it's probably the least likely to happen.
I think what the roommates are saying is that most guys on Tinder are asking for exactly that, no meeting prior, just straight up coming over and fucking. So in that way, yeah, you(we) are an outlier. But you've hooked up with a chick and are now talking to her 3 roommates...So I'd argue you did something right. On Tinder, that can be as easy as be respectful and 'traditional' (getting a drink first). That's why it worked, you weren't the standard creepy Tinder guy (who probably has his way of success too) but I'd bet it's more of the 2AM Friday and Saturday night variety..

It does depend on the GUY not the girl necessarily.

If a generic beta male asks a girl to come over without being confident or playing it off like it's just another day, the girl most likely won't be up for it.

If 6 feet 5 Tyrone does it, chances are quiet high.

In the end it's a question of behavior and status if you ask me. The max. I would do as a first date is getting a coffee on a thursday before meeting on the weekend to fuck.
