Above average guys usually go after the top 10% of women because it’s the same level of difficulty as the top 50% of women. I know most guys think he’s above average, but I do too so here’s my perspective. For me getting a mid okay girl is just as difficult and is as much effort as getting a very desirable one. The only difference is, there is far less very desirable women and there is a hurdle to get their attention.

Mid girls these days have 10x more options in dating with social media and dating apps. This allows them to act like they are way more desirable than they actually are, and think they deserve the same guys as the top 10% women get. These basic women can if they make themselves available enough, but are almost always used for temporary entertainment.

So above average guys tend to ignore basic women because in dating world, they are usually delusional about what men they think they deserve. The more appealing top 10% woman has the same level of difficulty so men go after them.
