Silver bullet- my ex told the police I was SA my 3yo son last Friday. I lost custody of my 3 children yesterday. Zero contact till it’s sorted out. Hearing in 2 weeks but might drag out much longer. I’m fucking devastated. You need to get ahead of this. There’s a ton of great info within this group.

I'm sick of the double standard in family court. How many times do judges need to see the exact same cookie-cutter domestic violence (DV) accusation in divorce case after divorce case before they realize something is seriously wrong? When the overwhelming majority of women are all making the same vague claims, it stops being a unique tragedy and starts looking like a legal strategy.

It's not that DV doesn't happen. It absolutely does, and we should never tolerate or condone it, whether it's against a man or a woman. But the system's current approach makes it too easy to weaponize.

The courts have a duty of care to see these patterns, recognize the fraud, and institute real protections for men who are being falsely accused. They're ruining lives, separating good fathers from their kids, and all based on a script.

The whole system has to change. We need to support the pioneers out there fighting for men's rights, guys like Mark Ludwig, who are trying to drag the truth into the light. The 'one-size-fits-all' solution they currently use is destroying families.

Mine tried to say I was unstable to cover for her having an affair and running off with a married guy.

She said. She was afraid of my because I was a former Marine who had PTSD and drank.

The truth was that I was a Marine (not while we were together) and I did like to drink beer on the weekends. She added the PTSD because it sounded good to her and she thought it would make her justification better.

It’s all hearsay, so do yourself a favor and don’t give her any fodder to use against you.

Here is the key to not having to deal with this. Get a WOMAN lawyer who has 20 or more years of experience. I had two during my divorce and they both ran over my ex like locomotives.

Yes! Wife did exact same thing to me. Never laid a finger on her. She started going out all the time and we had a talk about her quitting drinking. One day she buys a brand new 1.75 of Tito’s and she was being a bitch and I found where she was hiding it. I was about to pour it out and she snatched it out of hand and poured it all over me. I stood there stunned at what was going on, as she stared into my eyes just ruining our marriage. If I was ever going to put my hands on her it would have been then. Still accused me of being abusive (as if that wasn’t abusive to me).

My ex claims some wild stuff. I have a restraining order against her. Shes tried to get cops, lawyers, mediators and the judge on her side with lies but none of them are buying it.

It used to bother me but now I just laugh it off. When we go to trial, she and her "witnesses" will either have to commit perjury or admit to lying this whole time.

Yes sir. This is what they do when they get desperate. Starts with substance abuse and physically dangerous, and when that doesn’t work, they will even go as low to say you’re potentially sexually dangerous to your kids. It’s pure evil but common. Just stay calm and provide facts and evidence to show otherwise

In reality? Courts want evidence. So I did what any good dad would do. I submitted the court evidence of her conviction and jail time for “dui with kids in the car.” You should have seen her scream out “how could you!”

Apparently, her making. Up stuff about me with no evidence was ok, but me submitting her DUI was cruel.

It’s pretty common unfortunately. Though we didn’t have kids, my first wife accused me of all manner of fuckery. Said I was abusive, controlling, a drug addict (my job at the time had random drug testing) an alcoholic, etc. Said I would steal her car keys so she couldn’t leave the house, lock her in the closet…just all kinds of shit. Some people chose to believe her, others didn’t. But it’s standard for a lot of women to pull this shit so they can be the victim. A buddy of mine got dragged over the coals in his divorce. They had a three year old daughter. They were blissfully happy until his wife decided she was bored with the routine and needed excitement. She filed for divorce and claimed he was inappropriately touching their daughter. To be fair, I wasn’t in their house every hour to see for myself what may or may not have happened. But this is one of those situations where I fucking know this guy and would bet my house, car, stuff, and every dollar I have that he never did anything inappropriate with his daughter. However, as we lived in very left leaning part of the country and this was during the “believe all women” and “me too” stuff, the court ordered him to only have supervised visitations with his daughter. It absolutely destroyed him.

This is part of the standard playbook these days - they’re hoping to trigger you into any sort of argument or altercation then get a DV charge against you to get you out of the house and put you into a nice big hole to dig yourself out of (or deeper into). Keep your cool, keep your distance, get a good lawyer and fight for your kids. Don’t accept some bullshit unfair temporary orders. That’s what they’re gunning for now.
