It's true: Women control 60% of all wealth in the country. Note that I didn't say "spend" or "influence" (which is as high as 80%), I said literally control, as in to their name, investible assets, cash, real estate, bonds, stocks, etc. They "influence" a much larger percentage of spending by proxy, but have, to themselves, 60%. This is according to data that the federal reserve and other large banks, money management firms, and investment firms collect and analyze.

At the same time though, women only earn 88 cents to the dollar that men do.

So what gives?

Does it have anything to do with dating, with men commonly spending money on women, buying dinners, paying bills, etc? What about marriage and (potentially) divorce? How much of this is simply money being transfered from men, to women, in the form of alimony and palimony?

Does this prove the red pill "simp" or beta bucks thing (you'll have to excuse me on terminology)?

Or is it because men simply spend more than women?

Bonus question: To what extent is the wage gap caused by this tenadncy for women to be able to use or aquire money and resources from men? Do men work more, out of necessity, to attract women? Do women take easier jobs and work fewer hours, simply because they can, because they often have other sources of income, either directly or indirectly, from men in their lives?

What are you thoughts?
