Day game always comes across as really forced and indiscriminate to me, and that's not hot. Every time I've been approached in public during the day it's felt like the guy was just hanging out and hitting on anything that looked acceptable - like you will be. This is the opposite of how a girl wants to feel.

If you're a great actor and you can somehow make it feel spontaneous and exciting and targeted at her specifically, rather than every average woman on the subway, you might do ok.

Also 35-45 year old women are all married with kids.

The way you'd feel about the people in front of you in a line, that's the same way id feel about anyone getting in my way. Women here will tell you that it's a fruitless endeavor. It probably will be if you aren't very charismatic, extroverted, good looking, interesting or talkative, ect. but you already acknowledged that so its mostly beside the point.

This is 100% a "watch what they do, not what they say" thing. Plenty of guys find girls to date via seemingly random interactions in normal life, which is what daygaming is.

You can try it if you want, but expect a whole lot of being frozen out. There are all the standard problems with cold approaches, compounded by the fact that people who use public transport a lot tend to end up with very firm and detailed opinions about what is appropriate behavior on public transport including what sort of reason one should have before engaging ones fellow passengers in any way is warranted. Talk to me about jesus and save my soul? Yeah fuck off. Want to stick your dick up me? Go to hell. Wish to inform me the front carriage is on fire? Thank you, you get a pass on having approached me.

are you attractive (ie good looking and socially skilled)? then most of them will enjoy the attention.

are you unattractive and weird? in that case you won't be as successful

edit to add: you're not going to have much luck with 35-45 year olds unless you look like very rich or very sexy/athletic. and if you were either of those you wouldn't be asking this. instead go for mid 20s girls you'll do better.

also, even if you do everything right, probably only around 1 in 10 will agree on going on a date with you. and most of those will just flake out or only want a free meal from you.

What exactly do you mean by daygaming? If it's striking up organic conversations then I've never minded and do it all the time myself, with both men and women. I enjoy talking to strangers. If either party shows signs that the conversation has run its course, being polite means ending it.

Honestly that sounds terrible. I think I saw some dude try this once on the subway in the Boston area and the girl really didn't seem into it. Seriously who the hell does that and who recommends this? It will reek of desperation to get laid because you're just blatantly going out of your way to talk to someone you have never seen before.

I think there's some exceptions and caveats and other things to think about that might make it more "normal" or invited from my girl perspective.

1) Familiarity. Basically if you have seen this person before for like weeks or months even and they've made eye contact with you or smiled at you and you've done those back, it's more natural to start a conversation.

2) Something situational. Something happens and you make a remark about it. Maybe someone got hit by a train right in front of you. Feel free to be all shocked and awed with her. Maybe she has the new Starbucks Frappusomethingy and you just had one the other day and you loved/hated it and want to ask her what she thinks of it.

3) Perceived intent. Are you just being a creepy desperate weirdo who's totally ignoring her and what she says to try and get her cell # or are you actually trying to get to know her? It's a lot easier to not be a creepy desperate weirdo if you are doing #2 correctly and striking up a genuine conversation and trying to get to know her.

None. Zero. They will put up an act because the act is, in their heads, a sign of high value. Just as loudly rejecting a guy is something women will do to, in their own imaginations, raise their value. It's simple female solipsism.

Being randomly approached by a calm guy sets a woman on fire. She'll be so excited she'll talk about it for the rest of the day. She'll tell everyone about the guy, clearly excited, before she puts him down, loudly, so that (she believes) everyone will recognize her high status as an attractive woman who just has so many random guys asking her out.

Unless, of course, she accepts your advance. At which point she will be even more excited.

Of course all of the above depends on you being attractive. And I don't mean black pill law of the jaw, I mean the entire holistic male attractiveness. Presence, personality, and the dance.

It's annoying. When I'm on public transport or anywhere else in public during the day, I am there for a reason other than looking to speak with strange men. Even when the guy is attractive and polite, I'm sort of weirded out by the fact that he just randomly approached me. I mean, I'd never give my contact information to a stranger on the train, and if I'm on the train, it is also very likely that I already have plans for the rest of the day (so I'm not free for a spontaneous date). The entire situation just becomes a "how do I reject him politely but firmly and get him to go away?".

It's possible, although I havent tried it much, but in my experience it's better to go in with a shy kind of vibe. "Hey I dont normally do this, but something about you made me want to come talk to you, you seem really approachable and down to earth. I really like your style". Something like that would have more success than typical pickup shit like "Hey you're really beautiful blah blah blah". Works best on women 2-3 points below you.

Where? Probably depends where/what she’s doing. I find it annoying but that’s because I have a ring. Of course young guys don’t always notice so you can’t always assume they know.

Edit: oh you said subway. How does that work do you just ride it all day and try and strike up a convo with women sitting alone? I’ve never lived in a city with a large subway system I don’t know the etiquette.

Let us know how hitting on older women goes! Let me suggest that 35-45 is going to be more serious about finding a mate because they're family oriented. As in, they want to have kids soon (if they're in the 4/5 that wants to have kids) and are looking for the sign, where the younger women have time and grew up on Disney dreams where they don't meet their future husbands in subway stations. It's not about their consciousness of their own youth; women don't notice that at those ages because they're still getting hit on by tons of guys.
