Taken to it's aggregate extreme TRP describes supremely defective women.

In practice, most women fall somewhere between blue pill idealised and red pill worst case. When they come across the red pill content most women will object to it for one of two reasons:

1) they don't see themselves. The average woman has a single digit n count, married a bf out of college or soon after, is pretty pleasant, happily makes a life with her beta bux.

2) people lack introspection. Even when accurately described they cant recognise such traits in themselves. Furthermore people hate criticism lol.

Not...really? Prejudice is indeed bad, and a sufficiently bad thing to upset many people.

Personally, I also feel that they're exploiting vulnerable people and setting them up on a self-destructive path that will cause them pain in the long run, which angers me the way televangelists who scam the poor anger me.

People make fun of it bc the good shit is available elsewhere and in better frameworks.

The bad shit is like, really bad.

The smart commentators are fun to argue with. The stupid ones are being done a service being told what self absorbed and immature assholes they are (which is oddly something both advanced RP elder daddies and blue people seem to agree on).

The anti sub exists bc the left argues as a choir where everyone is trying to be the best voice, rather than like a horde of locusts. This is why the left isn’t in power. (I never spend any time on the bluepill sub as it seems pointless and boring).

Men who disparage TRP are usually clinging to romantic male value systems like loyalty and honor (which they learn are not values women hold in the same esteem), clinging to the idea of the virgin girl who will see through the sea of "assholes" and discover the perfect knight in shining armor, get married to him and more or less be his mother for the rest of his life.

Women who disparage TRP are either naive or experiencing cognitive dissonance. Naive women can't conceptualize TRP concepts because they're LTR oriented, and so they're not within the paradigm TRP operates in which is STR focused.

Women who are STR focused or have experience in said domain are fighting the mental battle that they're "not like that" even though they are describing them. They're clinging to rationalizations for their own behaviors which is why they focus so intensely on the "motivations" or "reasons" why such things happened, and sort of hand wave their preference for masculine men in short term relationships and "safe" guys for LTRs, which is the entire debate fundamentally.

More or less, both camps are not angry at TRP, they're clinging to their own comforting views of themselves. The ones in which they are the "nice guy with an edge" deserving of his personal virgin whore instead of the weak subordinate male or AWALT instead of a special snowflake deserving of Mr. Chad who decides maybe he doesn't want his harem anymore and will settle for her on her terms.

It's just like when a manager has to break the news to an employee that they aren't in fact special, their performance is suboptimal and they're replaceable. All these things are pretty uncontroversial, but if stated bluntly to the employee, would be the "asshole boss who hates me." Is the boss an asshole who hates women? Or is it just that maybe we're all pretty predictable.

We can easily say that men are sex driven and like women with large hip and bust ratios with good facial symmetry, who are young, but we're going to pretend women don't have the same preferences? That men pick a "ho or a housewife" and women don't have the same dilemma?

Nah... they're just loser misogynists.

TRP values are negligent of women in the exact same way Feminism is negligent about men. Perhaps both parties have legitimate complaints about the opposite sex, but when you deal with power plays you are actively negligent about the exchange bringing value to both parties. It's amoral after all, which is a nice way of saying buyer beware.

So if we are having an honest conversation, buyer beware tactics ARE negligent. Just not to TRP's core audience.

In my opinion TRP is nothing more than a sexist version of conspiracy theories. All their theories are based on their hurt feelings or in the rare case that they are based on science they are based on gross misinterpretations and autistic hyperboles.

The reason why I do not like TRP is the exact same reason why I do not like creationism.

Creationism might seem true and scientific if you fully swallowed the religious pill and willfully ignored any conflicting evidence, but it's still hilariously dumb and leads to homophobia, racism and sexism.

How is any of that a compliment?

Did you see the recentish thread where a couple of EC's were shitting on a fairly popular poster and calling him "beta" for reporting that a fellow teacher was fucking an underaged student? I think that's pretty damn irresponsible.

I could give more examples, but I think it's a pretty decent illustration of the aspects of TRP culture that get a ton of hate directed at it.

It's a compliment the way the existence of anti-viral drugs is a compliment to influenza.

TRP paints women as either opponents or subhuman in order to justify taking what men want while giving nothing in return. Opponents hate TRP because the men there are prioritizing sex, a want, over women's autonomy, a need that they themselves already have. It's complaining that women want men to submit, then turning around and calling women evil for not willingly submitting to men. It's both hypocritical and delusional at the same time. Fun to be, before everyone catches on and cuts contact, but not a path with a happy ending.

TRP disparages women (not just holds them accountable for their actions unlike others claim.) One doesn't need to disagree with their complaints of women to disagree with their views of women. Don't you think TRP trends to be to extreme and too disparaging of women? I think that's why people tend to dish it back.

I can see why people dislike TRP, I don't see why people spend so much time actively hating it. It's like the feminist pwnd videos on YouTube and subs like that. It's easier to not engage with it.

Them seem to enjoy having a common enemy though and people seem to find this sub fun .

It might be better for TRP to get off Reddit , get some quality control in and start maturing.

The biggest problem with TRP is that it's merely people's opinions. While their opinions are often rooted in truth through their observable experience, their is so much subjectivity to it. It really becomes an issue when younger users take ECs posts as gods word without getting out there and not only experiencing it for themselves but making formulated conclusions based of what they want. What ends up happening is these kids want what other people want and when they can't get it, they become bitter and blame women for it.
