The number of men seen as marriage material will continue to plummet. Marriage among the lower and middle classes will continue to plummet. Marriage will become largely an upper class institution as women and men with good earning potential meet at elite colleges and grad schools and pair off. Income inequality will continue to widen as a result of phenomenon irregardless if what any government action taken.

Physically attractive males in the lower classes will develop soft harems and father lots of out of wedlock babies. Women in the lower classes will either be single moms, or just plain single. They will not settle for bets males. Which means a lot of men having no sex or female companionship whatsoever, and turning towards various technologies for their needs.

Marriage rates will decline, less young people will have sex, and dating apps will fall in popularity because people will be having less matches. All of these changes will be gradual, but most of them are already in motion. There may eventually be a push to legalize prostitution.

Well you can extrapolate into the 2020's pretty easily since there are plenty of strong trends: Fewer marriages, more hookups, more dating outside your social circle, OLD getting more people and acceptance because the people coming of age now have already had it around for their lives as normal. The average age of marriage and first kids will keep going up while the number of kids and age of having them will go down.

There's a contingent I'm not seeing on stats but am hearing about in other groups that's marrying younger and younger so I think you're going to see a split in subcultures over the next 5-10 years as some people stay casual for most or all of their lives while the counterculture is committing right away and putting a ring on it at a young age.

Odds are the latter group will get more common by the 2030's. I want to guess by that point they'll have an advantage since being married is a financial advantage and I don't know if they'll have kids early as well. What this means for marriage if it happens, I can't say but DINK becoming more frequent is possible.

Either way medical science has made leaps and bounds. You can regrow balding or greying hair now to some extent with cheaper and easier products. We're having older and older mothers have healthier babies even if they're outliers and whatever conditions do happen are less damning. Skincare is also advancing and health and fitness has gotten more popular. Obesity will be a problem but you're already seeing an increasingly hard divide of people who peak young and people who can keep going into old age. What that actually means for the SMP and RMP, I again can't say. But expect to see way more cougars and DILF's out there.

Hard to predict, but as a general trend, we will return to more primitive structures, like polygamy. Homosexuality and bisexuality will rise in prominence. Marriage as an institution will probably be seen as a thing of the past eventually. Single motherhood will become the norm across the board. The State will probably create some form of "single tax" as a last ditch effort to whip men into action. The majority of men will be NEETs, incels, and hikikomoris if they don't want to raise the child of another man. I can also see the beginnings of an institution being laid down where children will, for the majority of the time, be in the care of the State, with routine visits being allowed on part of the parents.

Population growth decline. Corporations wanting profit and cheap workers who are only smart enough to work and easy to manipulate with our monopoly media. Corporations spend tens of billions of dollars on swaying low IQ masses to vote on stupid shit. There is no right/left.

Influx of people will be forced into the U.S. causing wages to lower and housing prices to increase and high culture clashes. Politicians already working on this hence the illegals issue being constantly brought up. Politicians are only loyal to corporate donors and don’t care about the working class. They’re giving citizens tax money to people who break into the u.s., free healthcare, free schooling and food stamps. And that’s how they manipulate politics.

Whatever communities are doing it right out there will receive more and more prominence. It will get worse until people finally view casual sex for what it is, a poison. We will eventually have a new Victorian era of strong morals and chastity. The real question is whether we destroy ourselves first or not. I'm optimistic.

If the internet continues in the direction it is, and anonymity online continues to roll back and people in real life are actually associated with the shit they say online, the assholes of either gender will have a harder and harder time gaining access to normie men and women who don’t welcome bitter defeatism into their social circles. For these people, dating will probably get harder.

Normie men and women who meet through normal social activities and don’t really spend much time online will not notice any difference and will be oblivious to what the bottom feeders are talking about.

Marriage is not a very appealing proposition for men these days and there are fewer and fewer guys that women think are marriage worthy. Kids will be born but I think the traditional family unit will fade. Then the world will adjust to make marriage more attractive. It’s not great for society in general.

Because of social networks, non-standard norms will become more acceptable.

Things we do as a tradition (via religious, cultural or other traditions) will weaken.

It will be more acceptable to stay single, raise children out of wedlock. People will still live together to form families but not see the need to formalize it with a marriage license.

More inter-racial relationships, more acceptable for same sex relationships, more acceptable to be LGBT. In particular more acceptance of transgender people as well as bisexual behavior. More open relationships.

This is not to say any institutions (like marriage) disappear, just that they will not be as strong as they are today.

Wide, open communication has allowed what used to be niche groups to form into movements, and have a voice. People realize what was once considered fringe may be closer to mainstream (eg the "50 Shades of Gray" movies with topics of bondage and BDSM).

I suspect in 2 or 3 generations (40 to 60 years) things will look very different. It takes time for old habits to die (the older generation needs to die with the younger generation trying out new ideas).

In the 1950s it was the "Leave it to Beaver" life, real life looks nothing like that today. A nuclear family with a stay at home mom and 2 kids, living in the suburb is now a minority, not the majority.

I can see a raise in poly families and non gender conforming families.

Even though millenials and post millenials have less money - there's a much larger range of things to do nowadays. Travelling is cheaper and easier than it ever has been. Because of this, there's a rising trend in 20/30yo people putting off marriage and children. There's so much to do that they don't want to settle. Because of this, I see a decline in the birth rate.

I'm 28 and I'm the youngest parent in my child's school. The parents are all in their late 30s and 40s. A few are the same age as my mother!

I'm hoping that children's best interests will be held in higher importance so that courts will award custody to the best parent regardless of gender.

Single fathers with custody have increased (IIRC) nine fold since the 60s. Sometimes the father is truly the better parent and should have the majority of custody.

I'm also hoping that as more women have high responsibility jobs that more men will be willing to step in as the major care giver to the kids with the major responsibility for the house. I don't know how possible this is but I hope to see it. My Dad would have been a way better SAHM than my mom but it wasn't done at the time.

I'll go against the curve. I think these things have massive cycles to them, like everything else, constant adjustments leading to constant over adjustments. We used to have many women per a man, which is the direction we're headed in, but eventually it will be monogamy again, as we realize the faults in that system.
