Note: This discussion is about sex with strangers (not LTRs), which is what stealthing involves. If you wish to discuss sex within an LTR, make another topic. Also, if you wish to discuss women "spermjacking" men, start another topic.

Stealthing is when the use of a condom is agreed on before sex, but during sex, the man secretly removes it. It's happening both in gay communities and the others.

There are communities set up by these men where they discuss how to do it and why and they share field reports:

As part of her research, Brodsky delved into dark corners of the internet where she found communities of men discussing how to get away with stealthing and swapping tips. These are men who think it is their “right” to “spread their seed” with every woman they have sex with.

One man, for example, has published a “comprehensive guide” to committing the act:

He reveals how his first experience of stealthing gave him a rush “more intense than I can describe” and how he’s over time developed techniques that make sure he “shot my load deep inside the girl’s unsuspecting ****.” http://www.experienceproject.com/stories/Remove-The-Condom-Without-Them-Knowing-During-Stealth-Sex/2441931

My thoughts:

  • Why has a group of men come together to plot to put their sperm into strange women? Don't they worry about pregnancy, if not their own health?

  • Condoms are vital for stopping the spread of sexual diseases

  • On occasion, some women will lie and say they are on birth control when they are not. I see this as a terrible decision and a terrible thing to do. But this is not the usual. Most women are not trying to spermjack strange men. And (as far as I'm aware) there are no organised forums where women gather to get tips on how to impregnate themselves with strange men's sperm without men knowing. Usually, if an unplanned pregnancy happens, the woman is devastated.

  • Men are always in control during sex in terms of using a condom (unless a criminal act is occurring, where someone is raping him or forcing him to penetrate). It's their penis, and they can put a condom on and keep it on, and put another one if need be. They have complete control in terms of birth control. Whether or not a woman is on contraceptives is immaterial in the face of the fact that men can ensure a pregnancy doesn't occur. She cannot always do this, because she's not in control of her birth control failing.

  • A pregnancy can result despite a woman's best intentions with birth control, esp. if she's had a flu or stomach bug recently. And sex with strangers is best done with a condom, to avoid such circumstances. Taking off a condom is a deliberate act, and in the case of stealthing, pre-planned.

  • I don't see it as a kind of rape. Because the sex had been agreed upon. But it is dangerous, because of the potential spread of HIV and other sexual diseases.
