I actually don't think Clinton lost purely because of sexism, but I also think Donald Trump would have gotten nowhere if she was a woman. Just imagine for a moment, a 70-year-old fat woman bragging about grabbing guys' dicks and ask yourself if any person in the world would vote for her.

I don't really see how the woman comes across as likeable in this clip. She keeps rolling her eyes and interrupting the guy. What's likeable about that? The guy comes off as a little pompous but he doesn't strike me as being rude or particularly unlikeable.

That said, Clinton didn't lose because of sexism.

I originally thought about voting for Trump because at the time he seemed marginally (and I mean a small margin) better than Clinton, who I knew took a really large amount of money from Wall Street, and took part in an administration that REALLY bombed the fuck out of some brown kids.

Then when Hillary and the DNC rigged the primary and stole the election from Bernie Sanders like the antidemocratic traitors they are, I had this overwhelming feeling that "this bitch must not win and these people absolutely must not be rewarded for this." And they weren't!

The woman with the Trump persona was not likable, the guy with the Clinton persona sounded a bit smarty pants.

People voted for Trump because he said what they wanted to hear. I don't think Clinton lost because of sexism. She ran a bad campaign, Sanders had a lot of traction even though he got shut out. Clinton did not connect with people at an emotional level the way her husband did or Obama did and that is how they vote. Americans don't like things to be overly intellectual and Trump said simple things that people understood and ran a much better campaign coupled with the fact that the Republicans could not find a non crazy person who appealed in the primaries to oppose him.

I voted for Clinton not with any enthusiasm and had the sense the election would be close. Trump generated enthusiasm so he won. I know several people who normally don't vote at all who voted for him.

Trump is yin and yang.

He has masculine swagger and is fearless and takes on every challenge and refuses to take temporary setbacks as defeats. He marries beautiful women, but Melania is actually very intelligent and not a bimbo as you'd expect someone like Trump to desire.

He also has a feminine speaking style (he's always talking very emotionally with enthusiasm or despair, about how great something is or how horrible it is)-- he doesn't talk about the boring details of "the wall" he wants, but talks like an interior decorator about his "big beautiful wall!" with its "big beautiful door!" He uses "fabulous" often. He loves Twitter as much as any teen girl and he tweets there like one-- always offering up his feelings and moods to the public on things and almost never bothering with boring "masculine" technical details.

Hollywood has a natural desire to make movies about things like the dramatic and unlikely election of Trump, and they could do it in a fun and fictionalized way by attacking it from this angle. Donna Trump becoming the first woman President. She'd be as similar to Donald Trump as possible. It would be terrific entertainment, if done right.

Honestly watching the clip I kind of get it. I wouldn't say the woman in the videos was likable, but there is a certain satisfaction in watching her scream at the establishment-guy and cut him off as he attempts to smile over her patronisingly. Trump was always the "burn it all down" candidate.

Well, that was expected. But the thing is, if the genders were reversed, two things could happen.

Male Hilary wouldn't have been so shortsighted in his corruption and there'd be no paper trail.
Male Hilary would be in jail at best or absolutely destroyed in terms of public opinion for the blatant corruption, with no room for benefit of the doubt.

I don't think this was a very valid experiment. These were a group of people not really representative of the US watching a reenactment of something while knowing how the reality turned out. Of course they'll all be watching knowing Trump won in real life and therefore being extra critical of faux-Hilary man.

Watching the rehearsal I didn't feel female Trump was all that more likable than actual Trump. He's still just an insecure whiny bitch with the vocabulary of a third grader.

Most, if not all, people are sexist to a degree - ascribing positive or negative qualities to a person based simply in sexism.

Some of these traits between genders can be mimicked by the other to great success, and others to great failure.

In this case, Trump's persona can do well for an independent, outspoken woman, while it may not work as well vice versa.

This is a brilliant experiment, and I hope the author goes through with the full production and puts it on youtube so that we can all experience it fully.

I could have easily predicted the outcome. The WAW effect was in full force for Hillary. If she were a male, she never would have gotten as far as she did. Female Trump would have done even better than male Trump. Nobody would even bat an eye at some old recording of her bragging about grabbing guys in the dick. And lots of people like, or at least tolerate, aggressive women.

This just goes to show you how blue pill the authors of this experiment and most of the audience were. Hillary lost because of sexism? Well, I'm fucking glad they decided to test it and find out. Watching the results unfold should have been a giant red pill for all of them. I hope they damn well rethought their assumptions about gender. Hell yes women can get away with a lot more than men can. The blue pill is strong medicine that blinds everyone to this obvious truth.

Clinton lost by less than 1% in MI, WI, and PA. These states would have given her the EC victory. It is VERY arguable that 1 out of 100 people are sexist and that influenced that voting patterns.

Additionally, Clinton lost BIG with pure independents and this is the group of voters most likely to be influenced negatively by a female gender (arguably caused by an absence of partisan cues).
