No. Sites like PUA Hate are what I would categorize as the "black pill" - a fatalist version of the red pill. While it's not exactly the red pill, it's definitely a movement in the red pill sphere, as the biological and absolutist approach of the red pill are a part of it. Theories like "All women will naturally seek the most dominant alpha male" and "Women don't care if you're a good person, unlike men they are not capable of real love, and will abandon you if you don't show enough confidence and other alpha traits", "women are mentally children" are part of TRP just as they are part of the black pill. Difference being that the latter is not focused on improvement or the belief that you can have success, but rather constant whining about the unfairness of the skewed relationship market and the impossibleness of relationship success. It's a more dark and toxic place than TRP in most aspects, and unsurprisingly it's mostly populated by people in mental grief, many of them being in the autism range. Still, it's mindset and theories about the state of the world align with TRP.

PUAhate wasn't to making fun of pick up artists and feel euphoric. PUAhate believed that pick up didn't work because women were only interested in alphas (fueled by much disdain). It shares that with TRP. If everyone from PUAhate went to TRP, you wouldn't notice.

Blue Pill (the subreddit) is about mocking the women haters, incels in denial, meglomaniacs, etc found on trp and their various biotruths. The only thing it shares with PUAhate is the belief that pick up is stupid, but it's for completely different reasons that define each group.

The name PUAhate is misleading.

I'd never heard of "PUA hate" until the Elliot Rodger shooting, and after looking into it around that time it seemed to largely focus on hating women and also shitting on PUA sites for giving guys bad advice and false hope since all women suck or whatever.

That is nothing like what Blue Pill means on Reddit.

Red Pill and pick up artists are slightly different things. I think a lot of people find pick up artists to be a little sheevy, but I am actually ok with them so long as their goal is to literally just have casual sex, red pill has a whole ideology around it which we find disgusting.

I doubt he would have identified as blue pill of the posted on here. I have to agree with Reed, while not exactly red pill, PUA hate and Rodgers share many beliefs on the nature of women as TRP. If you want to define blue pill as anything outside of TRP, then yes, he was blue pill. But in reality he would probably call himself black pill if he was on here.

Elliot Rodger did not have an idealistic view of women. If anything he thought the majority of them (99.999999999999%) were sluts. He hated women because he thought they were all sluts and he wasn't "alpha" enough to have one, that's why he went on a killing spree. "I will be the true alpha male" sounds way more like red pill then blue pill buddy. In red pill terms, he was a redpiller who couldn't get past the "anger phase" lol

Its weird. Since Rodger has committed his violence different groups have shown they are more interested in using him as a political grenade against other groups than actually talking about what he did or preventing the next one.

The function of the TBP is solely satire--it's a comedy sub. But we're also just regular people who see other people as human beings, not as means to an end. Eliot Rodger was very similar to Red Pillers in that regard. He was a sociopath who saw people as objects.
