Of course she is, of course she is...The article goes on to say she is asserting her innocence, and when all the facts come out blah blah blah.

Now, maybe she is completely innocent. Maybe the police report has it totally wrong. But the reversal of gender is simply too perfect for the NY Daily News to let it go. The reporter almost savors--no, the reported does savor--the irony of a feminist Ivy League professor (albeit adjunct) being charged with domestic violence. Against a retired cop. For supposed sexual infidelity.

And to be fair, there is a lot to savor in that. A lot.
