She is 34. I might understand if she was 21 and had little to no relationship experience, but surely she's had relationships in the past and realizes how fucked up and not normal this is?

Also, as a parent, what kind of example is she setting her kids? That it's okay for your romantic partner to never speak to you? That a man shouldn't be involved in the children's lives? That it's acceptable for a man to do absolutely fuck all all day while she is slaving away at a 50 hour a week job on top of full time parenting?

I feel sorry for her because her self-esteem is obviously non-existent, but God, Pickmes like this make me so fucking angry. You are a parent. Your children are watching and absorbing all of your behaviors. Set a fucking example.

Kids aside, surely she must realize this man is adding exactly nothing to her life.

That whole "no talking to him until he gets xyz" and "hanging out together on weekends is off limits" is straight up disturbing and I'm willing to bet the reason he wants nothing to do with her during the day and needs consistent uninterrupted time is because he watches a lot of porn.

Honestly I have no sympathy for someone who chooses to keep an absolute deadbeat around their children, especially a deadbeat who doesn't even like the kids or sees them as cutting into their free time.
