Never, Ever, EVER send a guy nudes. EVER!

My (at the time) HUSBAND took photos of me while nude and asleep. MY HUSBAND. I only found out because he showed them to all his friends, and one of those friends told me because he was a decent guy. When I got mad (like went to a hotel for a week to get away from him mad) his response was 'I don't know why you're so mad, they all thought you were hot'.

So I should just magically be okay because they all liked what they saw?

Why did this become so normal and common? Why do people act like it's just normal human behavior to take naked pictures of yourself and give them to everyone?

If you gave nude pictures of yourself to a man you were dating in the 90s and you told your girlfriends about it they would literally scream in horror and ask you if you were the dumbest person on the face of the earth. I had a friend in the 90s considering doing this for her fiance and every woman she talked to said, Are you insane?! You shouldn't even be considering doing that for any man unless he's your husband, and even then, you should really think about it.

And now young girls get pressured to do it for random men they haven't even been on a single date with. And we're supposed to see that as progress. It's revolting.

I also said "he would never hurt me" about my ex bf. He was my first bf in elementary school and I grew up with him. He seemed so sweet and thoughtful. Him drugging me (laced weed. Didn't say it was laced), raping me, gas lighting me and continuously pressuring me into sex since he already stole my virginity was something I never thought he was capable of. I also never thought he was capable of doing it to 7 other women. Wonder happened to his integrity? He too was very in control when he got angry.

Trust is good and healthy, but so is being cautious.

Will they ever learn? Just yesterday I saw a post on reddit where a woman had her ex threaten to release her nudes if she didn't have sex with him again. We can never ever know anyone enough to know what they would do when things turn sour. It's not worth the risk. Even if you take nudes and never send them to anyone there is still the chance your iCloud or Google account could get hacked. No man gets nudes from me.

My ex didn't have enough integrity to not smoke weed on his lunch break (#kickhimout2020) If you wouldn't trust him to hold $100,000 of your money don't trust him with nudes.

What do they need them for? If yall break up he shouldn't have them, and if yall stay together then he can see you with consent. Much better to send a frext to a girlfriend. She'll appreciate the lighting and angles more and keep it safer.

I know someone who has kept nudes and videos of all his exes, including mine (we never dated, but we had a 'thing' during my pre-FDS/enlightenment days). It was disconcerting when he would comment on my nude body during texting conversations. It felt akin to a violation that this man was able to access my body whenever he felt like it, even though he doesn't deserve to see me that way.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the guy you're dating is good for you and generally makes you feel safe and comfortable, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't feel self-conscious sending him nudes in the first place.
