Asking both men and women. If [opposite gender person on this sub] switched to [your gender], what would they be most surprised by? What advantages and disadvantages would they expect, and would they turn out to be as imagined? What things would stay the same?

Would a man expecting to gain X as a woman actually receive X? Would it look different to what he expected? Due to biological differences between men and women, would X not be so great after all as a woman compared to a man with X? Would a woman expecting to have more Y as a man actually value Y to the same extent as women? Would she not gain so much Y after all? Does Y come with an unexpected stipulation that negates the benefits of Y? etc.

I'm asking this question because a lot of the times, the exchanges in this sub go: "Being a man/woman is better because that means I can have X". "No, X isn't actually true/is overexaggerated in your head/is different for us/not as great as you think". etc. So hopefully that could be cleared up in this thread.
