It’s a reeeeeaally popular belief that a girl who “failed” to get a guy’s commitment or got cheated on by him must have been shooting above her weight class. Apparently, if she was as attractive as he was, he would have definitely committed himself to her and stayed fiercely loyal.

The 14 examples I know of guys cheating on their gorgeous girlfriends with mediocre/unattractive/fat girls laugh at this.

Men love variety. They’re built for it. It’s called polygyny. A man’s biological imperative is to spread his seed far and wide. For most guys: if they can, they will. They will gleefully, panting and sweating at the very idea of a new conquest. They don’t want a girl, they want girls, the more the merrier. A man who is able to get multiple girls will find it quite the chore to tie himself down to one. It doesn’t matter how attractive she is or how she compares to him. She’s still just one girl. How can a polygynous man who knows he can get multiple women settle for one?

Obviously some guys with options find it easy to commit to one. Those men have that specific value set- they WANT to be committed. That right there is the thing. A man who commits has to genuinely want that life. He has to value the idea of going against his nature to have a fully monogamous partnership. If a man doesn’t have that specific value, he simply has no incentive to commit or be faithful- not just to an average girl, but to any girl.

Leagues have nothing to do with it; it’s all values and biology.
