Utah has some extremely anti-father laws. Possibly the worst state in the country for fathers. They have an adoption industry centered in Utah because the other states won’t adopt out a kid over the father’s objection, but if the mom goes to Utah, a judge will sign the adoption over the objection of the real father.

Super religious people believe anyone who’s not their religion must be a terrible person, so when they find a non-Mormon kid they think they’re entitled to steal it just because Mormons are so much better than non-Mormons. Their daughters pick up this attitude and they think having a kid outside of marriage makes them the ultimate martyr. It’s really twisted.

This is less a Utah thing, than a "flyover country" thing. Perhaps in NY or CA where abortions are almost a hobby this wouldn't be the typical Tinder experience, but it sure as hell is standard throughout the midwest and the south, and I suspect even some of the less urban portions of the coastal states. The only thing that really varies by location is the color scheme of the women involved, since few cities are as white as Salt Lake City.

Utah native and resident here. Can confirm. Finding a women older than 25 or 30 here that doesn't have kids is damn near impossible. A big reason is because of the Mormon religion. Mormons marry young and crank out kids young but more and more people are leaving the religion because they realize that it's bat shit crazy. The divorce rates are sky high because people get married before they even resemble an adult.
