I've seen a few people in this thread define Chad as someone who gets sex easily, but I feel that's not entirely accurate. To me, a Chad is someone who gets sex easily specifically because of his physical appearance and sex appeal. An ugly A-list celeb, fat rich guy, or moderately popular band member can probably get sex easily or be approached for sex because of what they achieved, but nobody really calls them a Chad.

Chad is a guy who girls actively pursue because of the way he looks, it's a guy who doesn't need anything else going for him at all. It's a guy who girls would pursue even if he was a complete loser or a terrible person. I'm not saying all Chads are losers and assholes, but basically a Chad is a guy who can get multiple FWB's, fast hookups, and actually get chased by girls that most guys chase with little effort on his part because he's hot.

Any guy who can find casual sex with a fairly regular consistency is a Chad in my mind. Men who rarely are able to have casual sex or who need relationships or a FWB situation to have sex are not Chads.

Chad is rare, but not unique, and is ubiquitous (inasmuch as he is found everywhere). He is so different in almost every way from your AFC that discussing his stats is immaterial. Chad is:
- a guy with low or no conscientiousness - guys can tell this on an instinctual level - but girls seem to be completely blind to it
- chad doesn't seem to have much of any feelings
- chad doesn't have a lot of ambition about anything
- chad isn't usually what guys would think of as "good looking" he's sorta plain looking

You pretty much never see a Chad on tv because his character is so boring and uninteresting. The closest I can think of is Michael Kelso from That 70's Show, take away the likeability factor from his character, but keep the fact that he's really dumb and doesn't get anything.

It's like you're in a sprint, and they declare the winner the guy who was taking the nap. It just doesn't...make...any...sense to the guy.

Chad is roughly the top 20% of men as viewed by women. You can't quantify it, because womens' opinions and mens' physical characteristics change over time. Men are taller than they used to be, but women will still only like the tallest men. So you really can't put numbers on it. But as a general rule, it would be a man that looks better than the rest and has confidence. You could also be a chad intellectually, as some women have a thing for smart men.
