I disagree about ill and unstable. People with mental health issues often have more empathy than the rest of the world, which can cause part of their suffering. And while it’s hard for us to accept that someone in their sane mind can be capable of callous, unemotional treatment of others, that’s precisely the definition of a sociopath.
