It’s well known that redpill is primarily a philosophy based on western smv and rmv thus as many people have pointed out over the years may not be applicable to non western countries. However, over the past year, I have done a deep dive into the redpill community and realize it exists outside of the Western sphere, including oddly in countries where women’s rights are heavily restricted.

As an example I found this Twitter account by an Iranian man living in Iran who subscribes to many redpill accounts and other manosphere related accounts based in Iran. Now none of the accounts have really large followings so this in all likelihood is niche thing, just like redpill in Western countries is (99% of people have probably never heard of redpill) it is interesting nether the less and I thought was worth examining. I’ve also notice many of the guys that follow Rollo nowadays and respond to his comments aren’t from Western countries either, which got me thinking redpill may be growing in those countries despite the philosophy not being based on their societies. My main question is why do you think that is? Why do you think even in conservative religious countries where women’s rights (including the right to choose your spouse) are already heavily restricted would the redpill philosophy have appeal to men in those societies?
