I understand many guys who label themselves as MGTOW or "red pilled" do appear extremely bitter and do write openly misogynistic statements. However, I doubt they consitute an overwhelming majority. Does majority of RP/MGTOW men really actively hate women?

I've seen many times the argument that "they talk about women (negatively) too much for those who are done with women". I think it's not a good argument. First of all, many are fresh out of traumatic relationships. It's quite natural to vent your anger, grief or frustration. I bet such rants are no different from girls who just went through a breakup and now complain to their friends about all men being jerks. Men are just not as socially conditioned to vent in friend's circles, so they do it online. "Active hatred" is too much of a word in this case.

Second, it's natural to warn your peers about something dangerous you've encountered, isn't it? If one had enough bad experiences to realize they are not just accidents but a system, why not warn others of your kind about this system? You don't need to necessarily hate women to tell other men be more realistic and cautious.

If I may use a metaphor, imagine a bear. A bear is a magnificent and intelligent creature, one may genuinely like them (e. g. watching a NatGeo documentary). A bear is not evil or malevolent, it's just doing bear things. Unfortunately, bear things can include chewing your body alive. That fact doesn't make you hate bears, it just make you avoid wild forests inhabited by bears. And of course, if you encountered a bear and survived only by chance, you are going to tell others to avoid bears at all costs, unless they're absolutely confident in their ability to deal with bears. No hate included.

I think it's basically what RP teach us, or at least what it should teach. If you don't meet women's standards, you can experience a lot of pain; not because women are devil's spawn but just because they're nurtured and conditioned to behave a certain way, not moral or immoral per se. So I can't see why acknowledging this is misogynistic in itself, unless you define misogyny as just "disagreeing with mainstream conceptions about women".
