A friend suggested that there isn't, feminism is based on ignorance and/or dishonesty. I just can't accept that, it's against the picture I have about humanity. A long lived, and even somewhat succesful, movement like feminism can't be only about stupidity and evilness. But, then again, I couldn't come up with a single name. All feminist I know stick to the obviously wrong assumption that women (in rich countries) are discriminated against much more than men and that women have it harder in almost every way - when in fact it's very hard to find even a couple of examples showing that women "suffer" more on average.

This is a honest question, I'd like to read feminist texts that see the world the way it is instead of the way the theory says it should be. It could be interesting. But are there any?

Perhaps I should have asked this on a feminist forum but I'm afraid I'd be kicked out. But if there is a feminist forum that allows this kind of a question, please tell.
