Howdy y’all. First time posting here.

So my GF and I discovered that my soon to be ex-wife (divorce JUST started after two years of separation so HOPEFULLY it’s soon-to-be) has been making numerous TikTok’s about her current life situation.

As far as I’m aware she is single, and again, we haven’t been romantically involved since she gave the “I love you but not in love with you” speech to me two years ago with a separation immediately after.

Today I found her page as she is a phone contact and TikTok shared her profile with me. (I know I know, you might think I was trying to creep or look her up but I blocked her as soon as she stepped out on me and we’ve solely been communicating through texts and calls in regards to our daughter)

My girlfriend and I found NUMEROUS videos of her showing how much stronger, independent, and happier life has been since she got out of her “abusive, toxic, blah blah blah marriage”.

My question to you guys is this- has anyone else been in a similar situation where a walk-away-wife seemingly rewrites history in social media and/or shows how new and improved they are since their marriage failed? My girlfriend can see right through her bs as she and I have been together for about a year and a half and she knows that the stuff my ex is spewing is false. I’m interested because personally I think that social media and other single girlfriends are what led her down the path to where she is now, and rather than seek counseling or self-improvement she has taken to social media to cope with her new life. I’ve also heard from friends and family that still have her on Facebook/IG that all she posts now are quotes or statuses about how she is so strong and independent and happy. Anyone have any thoughts on this type of odd behavior?
