11 months for the divorce.

Now it's gong to be 21 months to enforce parenting time. My ex has kept our kids from us two summers in a row, last Christmas break, one kid spring break, and more.

7 years here. Horrible experience. Exwife and attorney dragged things out, sued the county courthouse(!), and Covid compounded the time.

Almost 3 years. Ridiculous.

If I was to do over I would have pushed for a trial at the earliest possible date. A looming trial date is a good incentive for settlement.

Almost at the three year mark, $280,000 in legal fees and we’re heading to trial.

She filed, and she’s the one not responding for months at a time….

2/3 years on average but i read about a case up to 10 years!!

5 years, a. Ton of money and way more than just one lawyer I was given a ton of really bad information, and got to learn a lot about lawyers. I became a coach after, to help guys cut through the BS.

Took me two years from start to finish. My ex went through three lawyers. Her lawyers weren't responding to our requests. Had to threaten sanctions on both of them. The only time it seemed when they did respond was when we had court. She defied court orders. She wanted to drag me through the dirt. Even if it meant costing $1000s to her. Cost me $25,000 when it was all said and done. I didn't pay one cent to her for her legal bills.

I own two businesses. Which means forensics accountants for both sides. She believes they are with a million but they aren’t. It’s more like an upper middle class job. We just submitted drafts of evaluations and estimated income to the other side. Definitely getting closer hopefully by the end of the year.

Took 18 months for a divorce that should have been 6 months. If you have assets and kids to fight over and she wants her day in court then you are in for a long ride.
