I was just hung up on during one of my three 15 minute FaceTimes per week because I asked my boys if mama has told them when they can see papa again. She didn’t like that and click. They were gone. It’s all about control. I’m sorry and I hope your dad is doing better.

This is about control. It's a rather heartless thing to do. I don't know what my ex will do when my parents pass, but I wouldn't put it past her to withhold access just to fuck with me.

But on that day, I'm not going to take the bait.

Don't take the bait: she wants you to be mad. Your best approach is to let that wave wash on you like it's nothing and just remind her it's bad karma.

The fact you're thinking about all this means you're a good person. Look out for your folks, and be there for them, with or without your kids.

Going to say that's great that you visited or cared about her parents, and yes it's heartless that she didn't for your dad. However, she isn't obligated to do things you believe are worthy or decent things to do.

Stop expecting your EX wife to be there for you at your low moments. If you want to and allow yourself to be there for her, then that's on you and you should not expect payback in kind.

I'm not faulting your ex wife on this one. She plays the game well.

Sometimes I wish we could just stop paying these bitches any money at all. They don’t deserve a cent. Like I said on other posts on here before , women become different people during and after a divorce. You won’t even recognize them anymore. They become strangers full of hate and revenge and spite. You mean nothing to them anymore. You are trash to them. My ex wouldn’t even help me if I was lying on the side of the road needing help to survive, she would keep on driving by .
