When I was 22 I was taking the bus and there was this older guy (maybe late 30s) loudly rating women as they got off the bus. As in "hot, not hot, would bang" etc. 🤡 And by the time I hopped off he loudly goes "not hot"...and then he looks at me waiting for a reaction. I just shrugged my shoulders and kept walking. Then he follows me trying to apologize and says "oh no offense meant" and I looked at him like 🤨 "yeah I dont care" and walked away. Y'all should have SEEN this scrotes face. He was so DEJECTED, like I'm the one who called HIM ugly 🤣 I honestly did not care AT ALL what he thought about me and I was was just shocked at his AUDACITY to think i would care what this ugly, old (to me at the time), broke (he was on the bus), decrepit, scrote would think about MY LOOKS 🤦🏿‍♀️This loser really thought he could neg me into talking to him. Probably because I looked 17 when I was 22 and was VERY aware of how old scrotes thought they could take advantage of my inexperience. All of my colleagues are in their 20s and 30s and not only is it difficult to determine people’s exact ages, it’s not like the 20-something women are all smoking hot and the 30-something women are haggard crones. I hate how so many women (myself included) have been convinced that turning 30 is the end. I personally think I get better looking every year because I learn new beauty skills and am more confident. :) I cannot wait for the day when creepy men will leave me alone in public because they no longer think I’m young enough to harass and manipulate.

I think the OP’s experience has more to do with perceived availability (I mean, she is married and pregnant now, so of course she’s getting less attention!) and how her time is spent (people tend to spend less time going out as they get older).

Up until just a few weeks ago I was incredibly worried about "the Wall." Im turning 27, and was freaking out because I felt like I was past my prime dating wise, and that if i ever wanted to find love i was going to have to be prepared to sacrifice literally everything for it. And I was prepared. Years of already shitty relationships and a lifetime of literal abuse from my family had worn my self esteem down to nothing. I would have done anything to be picked, and I was miserable.

And after finding FDS everything has just clicked. The "wall" isn't about women being past any kind of prime. Its about aging out of the eyes of LVM who only want younger and younger women because their LV behaviors won't fly with women their own age. I was seeking out older and older men, worried that the ones my own age wouldn't at all be attracted to me. I'm not even attracted to men that much older, I just wanted so badly for someone to pick me that I was ready to dive right to the bottom of the barrel to ensure I walked out with something.

And thank fucking God I found my way here and came to my senses. I am a wonderful person. I care passionately about my partners. I am a delight to be around. I am creative and talented, and I deserve good things. And I am NOT going to settle for less than what I deserve in any aspect of life just because some fuckint creeps who would be banging kids if they could tell me I am too old at 27.

Yes! I only recently put this into practice and I'm already feeling better! Quit smoking, drinking, being more conscious of my eating habits, and I'm going to start walking everyday. I love my videogames and it really motivates me when I think of leveling up and becoming stronger :)

Yea I've never been super into performing femininity on the daily but I'm going to hit 30 this year so I did a massive rebrand on my personal appearance. If nothing else, it really refreshed my view of myself and my girlfriends think I look fantastic so that's what really matters.

It's mostly my hairstyle and color that's changed and I'm consciously trying to drink more water. I had the same hairstyle unchanged for YEARS. It was fine but I'll be damned if I go invisible into my thirties.

I think all women should- every 5 to 10 years - take a long hard look at who she's changed into on the inside and find new ways to reflect that to make HER feel good.
