For me, firstly it’s photos that indicate that’s I’m not their type i.e a lot of photos with and groups of people who don’t look like me. Black women will know what I‘m taking about.

Also one of two extremes: either seems very flashy with a high paying job and seems very conceited with a lot of photos with him with expensive items or with shades on etc. seeming quite into himself...OR seems broke, every photo is in a bathroom or something, he’s wearing sports clothes in every photo, has a lot of tattoos, looks like a felon. For some reason there seem to be a lot of extremes on these Apps and many men fall into either extreme.

...also men who state what type of women they’re looking for and it contains some kind of a pejorative assumption. I remember once a man put ‘independent women only‘ in his profile. I hadnt noticed it until we matched and started talking and I asked him about it. He then proceeded to tell me it meant he wants a girl that has her own stuff going on and for whom the relationship is not the be all and end all. Translation: I don’t want a girl that’s expecting a lot from me.

I really like your list. Some of those are major pet peeves (other women.. why? I assume it is “I met this hot girl once and I want you to know this is my goal, an out-of-my-league cheerleader or car show girl)

Here is more of my list:

If he can’t even put his job title, he doesn’t have one. Men who have never had another human take their photo. Men with fish. (I fish, but I also have a personality) Men who have really intense hobbies that I don’t care about. (Sprint car racing?? No.) Men that look bi or their profiles are ambiguous They talk about drinking (why are most men alcoholics??!!) They give a list of things they want, not things they offer

Also I pay close attention to what men’s homes and lives look like in the background of photos. I try to give context in my own photos so people will understand that I have standards. Anything that implies a trailer or roommates gets a left swipe.

Also I don’t want men with children even though I have my own. That is my choice and I won’t split my time and attention from my kids for anyone else’s.
