Ewww this sounds like my ex… Weird incel LVM with a god complex or something. He literally used to proclaim that everyone is trash and he was some misunderstood “genius” that a “lowlife” like me or my friends would never understand. He was using this excuse when I called him out on his blatant misogyny and racism, like i remember he argued that “inferior races” deserved to be slaves or women were all disgusting sl*ts and inherently EVIL. Of course I went absolutely insane and cried in disbelief over those statements (dumped him soon after), but he would use my “crazy” and “irrational” reaction as a reason to justify why his view was better… like he genuinely believed that his view was like some sort of PROPHECY that I just couldn’t comprehend!!! And he would use weird grandiose language as if he was trying to say something biblical??

He believed it was me and everyone else who couldn’t understand this “truth”. Ewwwww!! Nope nope run as far away as possible from these deluded men. You can’t argue or express a different opinion with someone as deluded as this.

If he was able to "say the smarter and more irrefutable thing" then he wouldn't need to tell you that he was able to do it, he would just be doing it. A genius doesn't need to tell people s/he is a genius, it shows very quickly. This fool brought nothing to that conversation except unfounded arrogance and run-of-the-mill bigotry.

Also, this self-proclaimed genius should know that "more irrefutable" is an oxymoron because the definition of refutable is "able to be proven false." A statement either is irrefutable or it isn't (clue: a statement of fact is either refutable or irrefutable; an opinion, especially an idiotic one like his, is not irrefutable). It is incorrect to describe something as "more irrefutable" for the same reason it is incorrect to describe something as "more unique."
