I remember telling a man who stated he didn’t want kids, that if he truly didn’t want them he would get a vasectomy. If you choose to have sex then you need to be responsible. Condoms aren’t enough to stop diseases but you expect it to stop babies? Ok. Women shouldn’t have to be on birth control because you don’t want to use condoms but you also don’t want kids but you’re still busting nuts. Make some sense.

I remember not long ago there was a post on reddit submitted by a total pick-me, who was asking if she is the asshole for publicly calling her husband 'a great father', because he was a good father to their kid but also had a 10 year old daughter with his ex girlfriend that he basically never saw. He had to pay child support, but was never interested in the child, never visited her etc. His ex girlfriend and he were still living in the same town and still shared the same circle of friends. Her friends were reasonably upset that he abandoned his first child, leaving the mother to take care of everything without a slice of help. His current pick-me wife thought he never did anything wrong, since he was too young for a child when ex-girlfriend got pregnant (both were collage students) and anyway, he "didn't want" and "didn't choose" to have that child.

Almost eeeeeveeeeryybooody in comments were agreeing with the pick-me wife, acting as if his ex-girlfriend wanted to baby trap him. Like "SHE chose to have this child, he wanted abortion, so he should not be responsible for the child", "bOtH pEoPLe ShOuLd GiVe tHeiR CoNsEnT tO HaVe a ChiLD", "She DECIDED to keep the child even though he didn't want it".

As if she r*ped him or he didn't know how babies are made. Sadly, the more we fight for our rights to legal and safe abortion, the more men think they can opt out of any responsibility, leave their sperm everywhere they go and then be like "well it was YOUR CHOICE to not have an abortion, so the child is not my responsibility, byee!"

Hiii i’m coming here with a different opinion and say that a man can be baby trapped but not really. I say this from my experience with women growing up who purposely get pregnant in an attempt to make their lvm stay, but it never works out. I’ve known and heard of stories of women providing condoms but tampering with them to achieve this. So, basically what I mean is some pickme’s attempt to baby trap their lvm but don’t succeed. As for that whole celeb drama, it’s such bullshit they’re only blaming her. smh that dude is pathetic.

Men and women can 100% have sex and not get pregnant. Condoms, BC pills, IUD, vasectomy, etc. If a man insists on not pulling out, and just HAS to have his dick in there when he cums, then I'm not sure how he can be surprised if a baby happens.

This isn't a reversed "don't spread your legs" argument against men. This is a "take advantage of the many ways you could avoid dripping semen into a woman so that she doesn't get pregnant or it's also on you" argument.

If you aren't wearing a condom, you baby trapped yourself. If you don't pull out, you baby trapped yourself. Don't rely on birth control pills alone, or a single IUD. WEAR A CONDOM AND KEEP IT ON. PULL OUT TO CUM. Do your part men, or you're "baby trapping" yourself as much as she is.

Also, funny how many men I hear whining about supposed "baby trapping", yet I hear NOTHING from these men about wanting an approved male birth control pill, to put more control in their hands. Men have as many options as women do as it stands (condom/pull out/vasectomy vs pill/iud/shot), a birth control pill for men would literally give them more options.

How much do you want to bet that when a pill gets approved, men won't take it, will still whine about condoms, and then screech that women baby trapped him?

I want to push back gently on some of that: you don't HAVE to get "fixed" to call yourself childfree. Yes, obviously, it helps a TON, especially for younger people who are more than likely fertile, but people are whatever they deem themselves to be. I'm childfree, was always childfree from single digits. I never got fixed, because the time and place I grew up, it was next to impossible. Didn't make me any less childfree, though. I knew had I gotten pregnant I'd have aborted in a NY second. No going through birth, no adoption, just NOT having any of it. Very, very glad to have gone through menopause over a decade ago.

That said, pregnancy can ONLY happen in the presence of sperm. Men ABSOLUTELY should be the ones getting snipped. Oh what's that? It's your body and you don't want anyone telling you what to do with your body? Yeah, as women, can't relate AT ALL to that! LOL
