My only married Bestie and I were having a conversation about tech stuff and it came up that her husband doesn't know her phone code or laptop code and she doesn't know his and they never touch each other's devices.

My dude and I are the opposite, he knows my codes and I know his. He uses my laptop a lot now since he's practically living with me since my surgery and his only computer is a desktop over at his place. I'm always asking for his phone because his does Shazam music capture better than mine ( mine's 6 years old 😹 gonna have to give in and take an upgrade soon the old phone is slow as hell and falling apart but I hang on to my phones forever )

My Bestie thinks "I trust my husband and I don't need to mess with his stuff or see his phone because I trust him"

I think "I trust my dude, so I should be able to borrow his phone anytime and I know I won't get surprised"

You ladies know... if you're on your man's phone he's still going to get his texts and Facebook notifications and Instagram etc etc so if he's all about "Stay off my phone" or has to explain away sketchy messages then you have a problem.

I'm just wondering which way ....Bestie's "we don't touch each other's tech" or my "everything's an open book" way is the one that shows real trust?

I'd love to hear the FDS ladies' opinions and thoughts on this.
