So.

I am a men's advocate. I have been for ten plus years.

And at this point. I'm starting to think that the feminists who say we just want to whine are right.

I am one of the founding members of this community. And I've been a moderator here since the beginning.

But every time I've brought up examples of real activism. How we as a community can protest the fact that reddit does not offer equal protection to men in its rules against hate. It gets shut down and dismissed unanimously by the rest of the mod team and the users.

Every time I've brought up calls to action for how we can affect positive change. It falls up on deaf ears.

The usual responses being.

"Don't wanna rock the boat and have our sub deleted"

Or

"This won't work, nothing will work. Society hates men."

Or

"That's a lot of work. Somebody else should do it"

every. Single. Time.

So what the fuck are we here for? What actual activism has been organized through this community.

Or are the feminists who dismiss us as just wanting to whine correct?
