Ironically feminist started the whole trans insanity. They thought that transgender people are their natural allies smashing the imaginary patriarchy.

They wanted this bizarre new speak . Until of course it didn’t benefit them.

The only good thing is woke progressives are a circular firing squad. Eventually they will fight each other over victim status , who gets more special privileges and of course government assistance and or funding for their insanity.

We cannot use female and have to use convoluted phrases to say a simple thing . It’s insulting to normal human intelligence.

Like most things on the internet, the complaint has been bastardized over time. The original complaint made sense when they talked specifically about people who always used the term men but specifically used female for women.

Then, when people who didn't understand the complaint saw it, they took offense to the word female even when it was being used correctly.

In an age when gender identity is a consistent talking point, the word female should be used more, not less. People would rather muddy the water though by using AFAB for some reason, though.

"Persons with uterus" excludes those people from the circle of women who have had their uterus removed. It is quite discriminatory to speak about women in this way.

Also us guys don't get offended when someone calls us male. They say it makes them feel like animals but isn't that what we are?. I say female because its quicker and easier than saying woman and girl when I'm talking about the whole gender. Like I'm not gonna call a young girl a woman. That's weird. And I'm not gonna call an old lady a girl. Same goes for the male gender. It just saves time and energy. I don't mean any harm by saying it

To the over/undereducated liberal particularly white woman yeah they seem to be enchanted with the term female; however, you go to any major city and listen to the people speak and it’s common vernacular to use female and male with many women using the term female to describe themselves, especially in black and Hispanic areas - I know this because I’m Hispanic and have lived in a major city my whole life. It wasn’t until I heard particularly white liberal women saying it’s somehow dehumanizing to be referred to as female. I’d like to direct them to “educate” and talk down to their black and Hispanic counterparts in inner cities, in fact I’d pay to see that conversation go down.

Because they are indoctrinated into an ideology. They don't critically examine their beliefs, they simply promote theirs and ridicule anyone who disagrees with them. Especially when the people disagreeing with them can be written off as right wing/conservative.

That's the thing about progressives. They don't have a good sense of just how left wing they are. They don't realize that most moderates disagree with them on the modern transgender issues.

woman refers to an adult human female, while man refers to an adult human male. male and female are not human exclusive. when you exclusively refer to men as men and women as female it will be seen as dehumanizing. i don't consider it to be offensive being labeled as female by someone who also uses male. but removing the human component for women only can come across as having those intentions.

persons with uterus is viewed as offensive. see similar backlash for terms like "chestfeeding." the only people who push these terms as acceptable are people who are transgender and those who pander to them or general inclusivity attempts. consider the fact that many of these people have not left the house in years and push these terms despite having a dick in their skirt. they don't know what women think and wouldn't care if they did.

I can try to provide some insight here, if I may.

The term female isn't inherently offensive, I am biologically female, born and raised. That being said, context is important. To say "there are males and females in this room" is biologically accurate, and no issue. The word female is often used as a derogatory term when describing women in music, specifically. Also, in places where men are referred to as men, women are often referred to as females rather than women. Socially, it seems to be akin to referring to men as boys, indicating that you're reduced to childlike and/or immature behavior; female reduces women (in the wrong context) to objects or farm animals (similar to the word bitch, insinuating that we're just dogs and good for breeding)

Persons with a uterus is also dehumanizing. It reduces women to nothing but sex organs. There are women who do not have a uterus for a multitude of medical reasons - so it's not even accurate medically. I think this is just pandering, myself, but I'm a big nobody and "they" don't care about my opinion.

People are clowns. As a woman, saying “person with uterus” is offensive, but I frankly don’t care when the person saying it means nothing to me. It’s just more controlling of people’s language, which I cannot abide.

As an aside, I think people get offended (men and women) when the terms are used as opposite and end up sounding derogatory. For example, many men will “men and females” which is clearly dehumanising on purpose. The same as those psycho women (oops was that offensive) feminists who say “women and males” or even worse “women and scrotes”. It’s only to push their agenda, whether it’s the black pillers or psycho feminists, the one thing I can say, is ignore anyone who tries to police your words.

I think there’s a lot of reasons for this. Number 1, referring to a woman as a “female” is often meant to dehumanize, as any animal that can bear offspring while a woman is a female human. Referring to a woman as a female is literally removing the human part (dehumanizing). “Persons with uterus”, while I don’t agree sounds the best, is meant to be inclusive. A person is a human, so not dehumanizing. I get inclusivity makes people uncomfortable when it isn’t the norm, and I wouldn’t say I’m used to it as well, but I honestly don’t care. It isn’t taking away someone’s personhood the same way calling a woman “female” does. It’s a little silly to make the comparison.

‘Person with a uterus’ has ‘person’ right there, so no, it’s not dehumanizing.
