The idea that child support should increase to infinity based on your earnings is absurd. Child support should be capped somewhere around $1000 per month based on local cost of living (averaged between the two parties). Live in bum-fuck nowhere? $500. An ex-spouse doesn’t deserve a free ride. If they can’t take care of themselves and a child while getting $1k per month, maybe they’re not a fit parent.

I heard of this flipped around. A man (normal Job) and a woman (a £250,000+ per year successful author or similar I think) divorced and he had custody of their kid. What did he get in child support? Any guesses? £300 per month! You know because she’s a woman and worked so very hard to become successful and she deserves to keep her money.

So as much as I like this sub at times you guys don't have the full story. In this case the only is reffering to the fact that for the past week there has been misinformation that Blake Griffin was paying 258k a month. This is saying that he is not paying 258k but only paying 32k. I don't know about you guys but this seems like a fair use of the word only to me even if 32k is still a lot.
