It's a shallow way of thinking. You imagine yourself at 14 or 15 and you imagine a hot female teacher fulfilling your every fantasy. I'm not going to lie. That would have been fucking awesome. But then, fantasies are.

There’s a reason we protect children from relationships with adults, particularly adults who have power over them. And those reasons still apply if the child or young person finds the adult attractive and even if the child or young person initiates the sexual or romantic contact. The responsibility is always on the adult to say ‘no’.

On a side note, I find it weird that Mrs Robinson was fetishized for so long. You don’t hear it so much now, but you used to a hear a lot how “every young man dreams of a Mrs Robinson figure”. Is there any studies on this or statistical references to how this has become so common now? The media reports these crimes but there doesn't seem to be anything being done about it. This post is tactless but without more information there really isn't enough to go on.

Special needs education doesn't necessarily mean these are humans who are only capable of drooling on themselves. Many high functioning autistic or aspergers men and women are extremely sexual. These people have just as much right to consent to sex as us "normies".

Once again I always will come to the defense of the teacher being unethical doesn't mean it should be criminal. Lack of ethics should lose your job, not your life and freedom.
