Genital Integrity. Parents can have part of their son's penis cut off at will, while genital cutting of girls is banned and protected, even if the parents want it.

Male bodies, even at infancy, are seen as defective and so repulsive, they must have a part of their intimate anatomy sliced off from them, and that's okay. No protection.

Later retirement ages than women despite having lower life expectancy.

No access to a domestic violence shelter and even homeless shelters in some cases.

Police are unlikely to arrest a woman or man who physically abuses a male partner.

Men get longer prison sentences for the same and similar crimes as women by a significant margin despite having lower life expectancies due to the female immune system being naturally stronger than the male immune system.

Boys get harsher punishments than girls for the same actions in schools.

Women casually slapping men for any reason is considered acceptable.

In dozens of countries only men and/or boys can be subjected ro judicial corporal punishment such as caning and whipping but not girls and grown women even if a man or boy has a disability or is physically weaker than the average woman or girl of a similar age in his country.

In the US specifically, the right to vote.

Women are eligible to vote at age 18, no questions asked. Men must register for selective service to be able to vote, so it’s not a “right” - it’s conditioned upon us agreeing to be cannon fodder at any time.

Bodily autonomy.

Male genital mutilation is done largely for cosmetic reasons and because the medical industry makes big $$$ off it with a double header: perform unnecessary surgeries (covered by insurance, so it's really a triple as that affects premiums) and sell the body parts for $$$ to cosmetics companies or medical research (quadruple $$$?), it's the primary source of stem cells. It's the literal fucking essence of evil. Criticism of girl babies and toddlers getting their ears pierced is more well received than criticism of male genital mutilation.

Also bodily autonomy:

Conscription. As a man your body literally belongs to the state. In very few countries is that also applied to women, and if/when it is, they aren't put in equal peril.

Men are victimized by the family courts. Men are regularly put in debtor's prison for not paying child support even if they are literally unable to pay, there is not a single case I've ever heard of a woman with back child support being similarly jailed. Here in Ireland, a father's rights to his children are dependent on him being married to his kids mother. Mums are automatically awarded full custodial rights irrespective of marital status.

Dad's here are not entitled to even to see their children and are forced to go to court to obtain basic rights.

I mean, we don't need studies. Practically every country with laws, you can look at the laws with nothing but an Internet connection and basic reading comprehension and see when the legal statutes as written is gendered. Any law that is gendered in such a way as to apply benefits to women only or consequences to men only is, as literally as it gets, and with no possible way to deny it, a literal right that is literally, provably denied to men. And men lack the right to legal recourse against rape almost everywhere.

UK law for rape: A person (A) commits an offence if—

(a)he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis,

(b)B does not consent to the penetration, and

(c)A does not reasonably believe that B consents.

That's pretty clear I'd say. Despite repeated requests, no one has ever been able to quote legal statutes that gives legal advantages to men in... Actually, in anywhere. Sure, they INFORMALLY SAY laws in the middle east, or in other muslim countries favor men because rape laws apparently make some exceptions and/or make it hard to convict men unless X, Y and Z, but they're oddly unable to quote any actual LEGAL STATUTE, and they are ESPECIALLY NOT able to tell me, even informally, what WOULD constitute rape of a man by a woman, or even how a woman would be convicted of raping a man in these countries. Informally, my guess would be "nothing" because legal statutes everywhere I looked from Western countries to that supposedly "patriarchal shithole" that is India, the answer is either "nothing" or "use a dildo on them" (India BTW uses "nothing", here's the actual legal statute in India: "A man is said to commit "rape" if he..." Yeah, by the second word it's already clearly gendered.)

And to finish, my home country of France actually has a gender-neutrale statute as it uses the clunky "penetration, of any nature whatsoever, of either the victim OR THE PERPETRATOR (AKA men "made to penetrate")" as part of it's rape definition. A change that happened within my lifetime, and only after a classmate has already molested me and gotten away with it due to gendered statutes mind you, and I'm not sure of it's actual application in practice, but the statutes have been updated so progress so yay, I guess? One step at a time people, one step at a time.

I think your question contains some assumptions. The "rights" that most are talking of here were only dreamed up this century by feminists.

Look at traditional lists of human rights - the US Constitution & the UN list. None of the rights people are talking about here are on those lists. They were dreamed up ex nihilo by feminists who couldn't think of any other justification because the term equality couldn’t be stretched any further. They are privileges not rights.

The issue isn’t BS "rights" – it’s equality & traditional legal protections.

EDIT: The other thing that often gets overlooked in such lists is the vilification. Disrespect would be unpleasant but media, politicians & femocrats (especially here in Australia) dish out a torrent of hate. For me that’s a bigger deal than discrimination.

Here are some ways men and/or boys are legally disadvantaged in the U.S.:

Affirmative action for women

Women’s Educational Equity Act.

VAWA

Women only healthcare mandates

Men charged higher auto insurance premiums due to higher auto claims but it’s illegal to charge women higher health insurance premiums due to their higher health claims.

Men required to register with selective service, while women exempt. There are many legal restrictions against men related to this, it’s about more than potentially being drafted.

Women only business advantages that legally disadvantage male owned small businesses.

Some states still have rape laws that specifically define rape as a crime committed against women by men.

Some title IX practices are one-sided allowing discrimination against men under the argument women are disadvantaged (despite the many ways women are advantaged in education).

Many states still do not have equal presumption of joint custody laws (something feminist organizations have been strongly opposing).

Then of course we have many services specifically for women which are provided as a matter of law using taxpayer dollars such as the office of women’s health. Since these services are provided under the law, they are serviced women have a legal right to, but not men.

In Canada the CRAs flow chart states that " the mother is to be assumed the primary custodian".

This Claus means that when a child is born and seperation occurs. The mother is to get all assistance, benefits, low income benefits, and all rights equivalent to a parent who has full custody unless contested or ordered by a judge other wise

This is why men usually don't qualify for legal aid. Because primary custodians get an income deduction per child when applying for ei.

They also will get family allowance and eventually child support.

It is an uphill battle from the start for the male.

The reason why they won't change this is because women physically have to be present at birth.

So they figure it's easier to generalize all men into a category rather then treat each situation separately.

Your best shot at people taking mens rugbts seriously, is joining with women on the same rights women are fighting for. You’re really not going to be able to turn the tables on women the way you think you are. Mostly because 1) men are still a majority in decision making. 2) women aren’t doing anything to oppress men. It’s other men doing it. We both face high statistics of rape from men. All the posts of women SA perpetrators in the sub Reddit doesn’t even come close to the documented men who do it. And they’re doing it to you too. And even if you haven’t experienced SA, you may have experienced something that would allow you to empathize with those who have.

This sub Reddit won’t get anywhere with how petty it is though. Nor does anyone in here seem to understand how to talk about actual rights.

If you want men’s rights in this society, you have to remember that this is specifically a patriarchy we live in. Not only are men still in charge and you have to talk to THEM but this society is literally built in your favor.

Men pay on first dates and so on because they want to access the woman btw.

The point of my post however was that there are ZERO states in which men are allowed to have agency over their parenthood. We should organize politically and fix that.
