We talk a lot about how promiscuity here on /PPD.

I am interested in your anecdata.

I can honestly say that I have never met a promiscuous woman who didn't at least somehow regret her promiscuous past at some point in her life.

Some of the things I have been told / I have seen over the years:

  • They talk about how her current boyfriend is doing well in bed, but can't live up to one of their former fuckbuddies. Literally saying "I am spoiled". They don't ditch him, but feel unsatisfied. Even though he is "doing well" according to them.

  • They have to avoid certain places/bars/parties, because they might run into their former fuckbuddies and they don't want to have an "awkward situation". Sucks to be restricted like this.

  • They don't avoid certain places/bars/parties and do meet a former fuckbuddy. The situation really is awkward. Former fuckbuddy brags about fucking her. Might even say something like "I wouldn't fuck her anymore because she gained a lot of weight."

  • Being actually rejected for her n-count. Blue pill is correct that she should just move on if the guy is concerned about her former promiscuity. The problem is that it doesn't seem to happen much in reallife because "just move on" is not something many people can easily do. Most of the time I see both wanting to "work it out".

  • The woman overestimating her attractiveness because hot guys had ONS and fuckbuddy relationships with her. She has filed it away under "he just didn't want to commit" and thinks "I slept with a hot guy, that means I am hot, too". She feels like she has settled, but feels good about it at first. "I am not shallow". But the relationship dynamics that comes with her feeling like she has settled will destroy the relationship sooner or later. I have seen that countless of times.

  • "He is not concerned with my n-count". Yes, he is. You just don't see it. An example would be when a friend told me that she revealed her (high) n-count to her boyfriend. She said he was suprised but didn't have problems with it. A few weeks later she said to me "it's not going too well in the relationship. I don't know what's up with him. Remember when I told you how much I love it when he looks at me like he is totally in love. Like he was under some kind of spell? He doesn't do that anymore." For me it was obvious that this totally romantic guy didn't see her as a princess anymore after she gave him her n-count. To be so totally in love like he was takes an over-the-top romantic interest in her. Well, it was gone afterwards. But I didn't tell her that. Didn't want to be the messager of bad news so to speak. So she still thinks her n-count wasn't a problem.

  • Many former sluts have told me that they "just like sex" and that it was the only reason they slept around. That would be cool if it was true. But years later they often talk about how bad it felt that men only wanted to sleep with them. I respect women who only sleep around because they love sex, but it almost always turns out that they did it for validation. This might even affect the relationship with her new boyfriend (high-value beta with some alpha traits) positively. But it often makes them jaded and bitter and their dating life harder if they haven't found a boyfriend yet. So if they finally have a relationship, the beginning stages are much less fun and this might affect the relationship later on.

So what's your take on it? Have you seen former promiscuity affecting later relationships? Have you seen former sluts who have a happy relationship now? That is, both of them are happy? Or have you even seen examples where her former promiscuity had a positive effect on her later relationship? ''(For example better sex because of her "practicing" before.)
