My cardinal gripe with FDS is how extractive it is. I’m happy to pay for dates, but these ladies really want men to pay and pay. As with TRP, some of the advice sounds reasonable and common sense, and the rest of it comes off as bitter and selfish. Vetting men’s character better and looking for indications of his investment are some of the best solutions available to relationship-minded women in the current dating marketplace.

pays for expensive dinner dates
is over 6ft tall
is physically fit

Those are all things TRP aknowledges that women want in a guy too. So to me the stuff Red and Black pill says women want are the same things that frequently get brought up on FDS. The main difference is FDS wants to get men to pay for expensive dinner dates and wait for sex even though they put out way easier for other guys. Meanwhile red pill says guys should avoid waiting for sex and try to be the type of guy thatv women sleep with early on without paying.

Depressing as it sounds, I think TRP is being realistic when they say that men have to get used to being alone/unloved, and that they’re disposable/useless. I would cite mitochondrial vs chromosomal dna diversity, gender roles in other animal species, traditional gender roles in human societies, and demographics to substantiate that view point.

I do not hold this viewpoint as dogma, nor indeed with any great conviction. It’s more a nagging suspicion born of observing repeated patterns in the aforementioned areas of biology, demographics, history, sociology. (I try always to be objective, but I am still, no doubt, biased by my own experiences. So don’t take me too seriously!)

It is better to live with hard truths than to live a pleasant lie, right? Better to know most people have a higher value than yourself, and that you will probably live alone, than to delude yourself? In that sense, maybe TRP is helping people by dispensing some hard truths.

That's a very low bar assuming you think TRP is a toxic community. (For the record I don't subscribe to either ideology.)

FDS gets a lot of shit because the way they talk about dating is very hypocritical. If I had to summarize, they over-focus on supposed biological and psychological differences between men and women in super-specific areas, and then use those differences to construct a one-size-fits-all "theory of dating" where the same gender-neutral action (like not giving gifts, not being communicative) is arbitrarily deemed positive or negative based solely on whether it's the female OP describing herself or her male date/SO/husband.

In theory. In practice they make generic statements like how "hot and average/ugly men can both be LVM, so there's no point in taking the risk of dating average/ugly men without the benefits." Over time any nuance in that idea gets boiled down to "hot men are more likely HVM because they're not bitter about their looks" and then finally "HVM = physically attractive" and "bald/short = LVM." It's an insidious game of telephone and misdirected logical reasoning where short and catchy phrases become "common wisdom" of the community. Same with the way they talk about and eliminate entire careers like "don't date men who are doctors/lawyers because they're cocky" or some such obviously ridiculous nonsense. Of course, female doctors and lawyers are still okay because c'mon...they're women.

Lol let's be real here. You can call FDS a lot of things, I'll give you "relatively independent" and "confident." But gunning for "maximum female benefit" and assuming the worst in men by default is hardly "compassionate" behavior by any definition of the word. Same for some of those other adjectives you peppered in there.

I could spend all day pointing out their obvious flaws that I'm sure many ex-members would attest to, but suffice it to say even their perception of what constitutes HVM is so amorphous (despite it being in the handbook) and dependent on the specific person describing her personal preferences that it's pretty much become a useless term thrown around to "inspire" rank-and-file members and serve as an archetype for them to conveniently define their male critics in opposition to.

If your standards are ill-defined and if all your ideological opponents happen to fall short of them, then that's a sign they're contrived to be politically useful and practically impossible to achieve.

There is no difference.

Just like Incel communities try to dehumanize women by calling them femoids, FDS uses Words like scrotes to refer to low value men (LVM) which is almost all men. This is a common trait of cults where they have a secret language for members to use, technical jargon is used to contain the shared meanings.

FDS is also similar to Red Pill since they both claim the opposite gender has no sense of loyalty. They warn their members to not try and "fix" their partners. These partners will develop self confidence and end up trading up for a better partner.

Just like Red Pill, FDS tells women not to Trust men, be vulnerable and share secrets. They will use it against you. Don't change to be compatible with him because he will leave you. Focus on yourself and have high standards, don't hesitate to block and move on. By having such high standards they are changing the marketplace and pushing men to do better. FDS is very unforgiving of mistakes, maybe as a pushback to women spending years forgiving and hoping change will happen until they are drained.

FDS also thinks the emphasis on communication is misguided, these guys are adults and know exactly what they are doing on some level. Wasting mental effort thinking up examples, teaching them, giving tguidance isn't going to change them. They expect HVM to do the right thing with minimal or no direction, else they don't really care.

Just like Red Pill promotes plates, Friends with benefits (FWB), live in relationships, etc trying to get benefits of a relationship without serious commitment, FDS goes the other direction telling women to withhold Sex unless they get serious commitment.

FDS like MGTOW proudly states that being alone is great and there is no issue in such a life, it is better than partnering with most men out there.

For all the shit TRP says, they want to understand what women are and accept them as they are. FDS is horrible because they like typical women get all emotional and draw value judgments, call it male depravity, and literally hate men. It is so funny to see how reddit bans subs for hate but men are fine to shit on.

The red pill is keeping men from killing themselves. Fds is lying to women, claiming to be about dating strategys and how to get the best quality mate. When in reality the real message is you dont actually need a man and no man deserves you anyway. Idk how people are convinced trp is hurting men. It exposes them to the truth of who women are and what theyre really about. This way men can no longer say that theyve been lied to and cant understand why women treat them how they do. Even the black pill guys who quit outright have still technically been saved by trp. If we're being objectively honest is there a good bit of negativity in both? TRP basically says to try to be more tough/alpha - work out all the time, never do lazy/low value activities, work for 12 hours a day?!?

Are we including transiting to and from work as part of those 12 hours? If so that's not as egregious as it sounds - 8 hours at a job, 2 hours to account for getting there and back, another 2 for working on certifications etc.

I’m huge on The K.I.S.S. Principle so let’s reframe your question; in general who can get sex easier? Men? Or women? This is why men’s standards are harder.

why choose this path?

The most fundamental aspect of TRP is it’s amoral. Men that find answers there, choose how they use them. Just to hook up. Or get better outcomes with a girlfriend. Or vet for a wife. TRP is simply a sexual strategy that empowers men. To choose.

Simple. FDS promotes a high level whoredom, where sex is exchanged for the security of a well established man who will take care of them and pay for the lifestyle they are accustomed to or better. They shun sluts, or women who choose to have sex for the mere pleasure of it with men they like for who they are as opposed to what material possessions they can offer. They are even angrier at actual sex workers because sex workers have to actually exchange sex for money, while the FDS follower is under no obligation to exchange sex for security beyond the initial stages.

TRP is funny to me because it uses the Matrix analogy of waking up to the truth but in reality the red pill they take takes them further into the Matrix. It's like the dream within a dream within a dream in Inception. It is actually going backwards. It teaches men that they are worthless unless they achieve more of the things society requires of them so once they are buff enough and have enough money they finally start liking themselves. This is no different than the average nice guy being told he doesn't deserve a woman unless he can woo her, buy her dinners, pursue her relentlessly and be her slave. The difference is that RPers are still obsessed with what women want, but their ass kissing ia just meta level. Or in other words "to please a woman I have to pretend that I don't care about pleasing her and that will really please her".

FDS shun casual sex and focuses on LTR with emotionally/financially stable men. They want maximum effort. They constantly criticize men, and constantly reject men.

TRP realizes female nature and tries to adapt to it. FDS tries to change male sexual nature to what they would like it to be by not giving men what they want if they don’t play by FDS rules.

FDS isn’t really about changing themselves for men’s sexual nature like how TRP is. That’s more RPW. TRP isn’t about ignoring women unless they give men exactly what they want. That’s more how MGTOW hypothetically functions, as they have no problem having casual sex with women if the opportunity presents itself but they otherwise refuse to pander to women. WGTOW is unique in giving up on men altogether, as even MGTOW have the sex drive which prevents them from actually doing this.

TRP requires a lot of work. FDS requires a lot of patience. Both tend to engender misogyny/misandry while one works/waits for actual results.

FDS is filled with a bunch of single mothers and women who wasted their prime years sleeping around. Now they're past their prime and are angry that men don't want to settle down with them and take on their baggage.

What I take away from TRP is that women should be a compliment to your life, not the focus of it. Also to stay away from certain types of women who will do nothing but cause you problems. It also points out that women only want to settle down when they're not doing well financially and want a man to pay their bills, and when they get older and can no longer attract the top tier guys. Which I've personally heard women admit to both.

The main difference is that men don't want TRP to be true, but have to come to terms that it is. Women want FDS to be true, but have to come to terms that it isn't.

Men would like the world to be all blue pilled, where women enjoy the company of faithful, kind, caring, and hardworking men. That men will be rewarded for hard work and ethical behavior. TRP is a hard pill because it show the world isn't all disney-fied and that looks, game, $$, status, etc... matter more. TRP is harsh because it needs to be, it has to disabuse deep rooted misconceptions.

FDS is a fantasy. Somehow by just 'vetting better' magically top quality men will fall from the sky. And that all low value men are also ugly, and lazy, and smelly, and.... It's a revenge fantasy wrapped in a typical female victimhood complex.
