I’ll be talking more about guys in here because I’ve seen behavior with men more, but you’re more than welcome to share your experience of women like that.

So when I say “Dont want a relationship”, I dont mean “They totally want a relationship, cant get it, and settle for something else”. I mean the people who actively say they dont want a relationship. Usually they want someone’s sexual attention and emotional labor, but then claim “I dont want something deep”. It would be fine if that situation was agreed upon, but its not and the emotional labor is never mutual.

This was partly inspired by a reddit post where women were complaining that their fuck buddy would want to romantic stuff for them, ask them for favors, emotional support, and when reminding these dudes “we’re just fucking , remember?” it led to the end of FWB. In a similar fashion, friend of mine had her (now former) FWB crashout on her because she wouldnt go on a trip with him to keep him company, stating “Im not your girlfriend,remember?”

It baffles me to see the amount of people who want to get what they cant give. What is so hard about being reciprocal?
