I think cheating would happen less because you have access to this information, and I think the girls with higher body counts then they like to let on would have some of those options decrease but overall at the end of the day you like who you like , there would definitely be an effect, anytime you're in a situation where you now have to be a 100% honest person, that's going to change things, so for some the people that genuinely don't give a shit it would just be more out in the open and for the people that are super sensitive about things like that they would just change the way they behave

What I would want to know:

history of income levels, academic and professional opportunity applications/acceptances/rejections, history of various employment
history of debt / credit score
history of cheating
history of STIs/STDs
history of lying to get sex
history of stealthing
history of trying to get a woman drunk or high to have sex
history of pressuring someone and leaving them feeling uncomfortable in order to have sex
history of abuse or assault
history of violent irresponsible destructive behavior (punching walls, vandalism, crashing cars because racing or drunk)
history of using others and general inconsideration
history of committed relationships or lack thereof

I really don't think it would have that much of an impact on society or dating at all.

Unless it's ridiculously high or freakishly low, I've found that most people in real life don't care about body counts.

The monofocus obssession with it I see on Reddit really does seem to be a Reddit thing. Perhaps the type of person who is predisposed to using Reddit is the type of person who is also predisposed to caring about body counts, but my experience? Nah most people dgaf.

I’m already upfront about my sexual past with partners (it’s a good barometer to see where they’re at) so honestly I feel like it would be kinda nice to see where they’re at too. Plus, less work for me lol.

I agree with others that cheating would probably decrease (maybe emotional cheating would increase, as opposed to physical?) and people would probably stay mostly in their lane when it comes to partner number (i.e. similar numbers).

Maybe it would also help with detecting sexual assault and molestation too - they could just “share their info” with a cop or advocate, which would make things more cut and dried in some cases and probs more complicated in others when lines are blurred.

People would probably share it more than just with those they were in a relationship with - i.e. people wanting to brag, to explain, to… whatever. So it would become its own type of status symbol.

Chicks tell you anyway if you wait long enough. In the past I used to just wait until they told me what I needed to know to make my decision. But like a week after I’d end it so it can’t be pointed to them telling me X.

Why? Cause saying that I ended things for those reasons apparently is a taboo. So I just don’t say anything and for some reason that’s better? No idea why.

I'm not that old, but I'm old enough to know that people's behavior is symptomatic of elements of their life. The reason a lot of guys on PPD tend to say "history matters" is not because girls are icky and we can't stomach the thought the girl we're about to see has been with other guys before, it's because we understand if we're number 67, there's probably going to be a 68. If she's acting hung up on an ex, she's probably hung up on an ex. We don't want to invest time and effort into someone to be cheated on or dumped for something out of our control. Same story for both genders, really.

In this scenario, this just makes green flags greener and red flags redder for men who tend to care about this thing more than women. If you're potential LTR #2 with no casual sex, you probably are going to be made to feel a little more secure, her SMV goes up. If she has history of being in a 3 year relationship and has a history of cheating, I can't imagine any guy taking her seriously as a monogamous partner.

I can imagine this would be less helpful for women, so guys' SMV would be affected to a lesser degree. If he's shown a cheater it goes down but the rest is down to the woman's preference. What would be more interesting is if other factors were shown. His income/ net worth, his mental stability, and maybe a "rating" system for previous sexual or romantic partners.

There would be a lot more men getting angry at women and it would generally be detrimental to gender relationships. Some men without casual sex histories would suck it up and tolerate that their partners did have one, but overall there would probably be more conflict and misogyny message boards on the internet.

Some women wouldn’t like it that their men were players or had a history with prostitutes, but only the latter really bothers most western women as long as the guy is STD free. And since most women don’t care if their high-value man was a player as long as he treated women well, it would have little impact upon their preference for this type of man sexually.

I think it would ruin some relationships. I don't think every guy cares about sexual history as much as the guys here do, but I also don't really believe that most men don't care at all like some women here claim. I think a lot of men just kind of assume their partner has a n count that is the same or lower than their own and don't ask about it but if they were to find out they were wrong and she actually had more than he thought I think it could definitely lead to some break ups.

Women are perhaps not as slutty as red pill say but probably sluttier than non-red pill men believe. Like I do think in most relationships the woman has had more prior casual sex than her boyfriend/husband has and I think a lot of guys are oblivious to that. It's not necessarily that they don't care I think a lot genuinely just don't know and knowing could change things for a least a decent minority of them.

The people who can do casual sex without getting weird about it would have an easier time finding other like-minded people to bone, and will probably have even less drama.

Adversely, the people who have moral compunctions against sex will quickly learn that most people who claim to have moral compunctions can and will go against them in a heart-beat if given the opportunity that suits their preferences. So they'll probably get even more upset as they realize all the paragons they pedestalized have been human all along.

I think there is a distinct possibility I would never have had sex with anyone at all, having given up on men totally in sheer unbridled revulsion after the first few weirdos started pushing their sexual data at me when I was barely yet adolescent. I mean I would probably just start seeing male sexual development as starting at virgin and ending up perverted and none of the women involved really wants the end result but look how men end up anyway.
