This one I agree with. A man can go from "meh, I guess he isn't ugly" to "this guy is the only one out of 4 billion men that I wanna bang" in the span of 3 days. In fact, this happened to with with every crush I ever had. Amd I do find some minor flaws endearing when in a relationship.

Certainly for me, a man can actually get physically more attractive to me because of behaviour and personality traits. This also works in reverse - I’ve met men that at first I thought were physically attractive, but once I got to know more of their personality and behaviour (and more shallow things like their voice or way of talking) I will start to notice things about him that are less physically attractive and the attraction might be greatly reduced.

It’s not better or worse than men really - though yeah, it’s more “malleable” and means a guy can become literally hotter through his behaviour. But he can also become less hot and that can be a minefield. It’s not exactly fair that there’s nothing women can do to make us look more attractive to a guy if we don’t physically appeal off the bat (just as we inevitably age and that is something men find devalues us through no fault of our own) - but I guess we have a more obvious benchmark than men do, for what it’s worth…I think women tend to be less rigid about physical traits, but more rigid about behavioural ones.

Yes and no. Men have this ability as well, though it seems to be less common/intense. This topic comes up on AskMen regularly and that is the general takeaway based on the comment section.

The base level of unnatraction seems like an important qualifier people are not thinking about. There is a difference between lack of attraction and sexual repulsion. Some people are sexually repelling to me, they embody characteristics I specifically find repelling. Others dont have features that repel me, but they dont specifically attract me either. They can later become attractive enough that my love for them isnt having to compensate for much.

Im a woman, I have personally grown to adore people I felt no attraction to over time, but it didnt change my base sexual attraction to their face and bodies. I just learned to associate those features with the joy they bought me. I have never found someone sexually attractive that I didnt find atleast somewhat attractive at the onset.

I think this applies for both I might be wrong. People are more forgiving of people who they place alot of investment into. Like how many times can we account about a time a guy who beat his women and she forgave and came back. Or how many times have we seen a girl physically assault a man/ destroy his property and he come back?

I don't know about you guys but it's A LOT on my end

I really don’t think that women are exclusive in this.

Men in love will overlook things or even find things endearing that they wouldn’t otherwise.
