Yes. A high value man is likely the perfect combination of alpha and beta traits, with perhaps slightly more alpha traits than beta traits because attraction is more important than money these days to western women, as western women can make plenty of money themselves.

Betabucks is a man with far more beta traits than alpha ones. Alpha Bucks is a better comparison, although still not completely comparable as Alpha Bucks has a connotation of still engaging in male polygamous behaviors such as having a mistress, something that FDS presumably does not want their High Value Man to do.

HVM implies physically attractive. In fact, one needs to read FDS with the mindset that all these girls have been pumped and dumped by good looking guys. FDS wants to find an attractive man, that is faithful, and wants a relationship.

Merely having money or spending money doesn't get you in the door.

Indeed, they seek to beta-ize "real" men by making him wait for sex and extracting resources. Not because they need the money. Every woman on FDS is a queen/independent woman (her children notwithstanding).

The money spent is about mental investment. She aims to break his spirit.

If you browse their subreddit, you realize that the HVM is a fantasy that cannot be reached.

Henry Cavill would not qualify as a HVM because, well he plays video games by example.

The HVM might represent actually only 1% of the total male population. Most women in that sub will end up as cat crazies.

HVM are myths that are the upper tier of humanity with exceptional bodies/minds with successful careers while also being ultimately subservient to one woman. They are a goal in hypergamy, but don't exist in any numbers to be practical.

A young lady I knew talked about her mom a lot. Her mom told her to get a Guatemalan man, who in her words was short and unused to female attention; a useful man who was eager to please. That the young lady had had a Guatemalan step dad was probably not a coincidence.

Both men are utilities under these terms. Betabucks are a convenience, HVM are goals. The FDS board doesn't seem to say differently.

"Beta bucks" doesn't really say anything about the quality of the guy (he can be rich or lower class, he can be reasonably attractive or ugly), more about his attitude - he usually isn't the one in charge of the relationship - and that most if not all of his value is derived from what he can do for a woman as opposed to the alpha, whose relationships are more about what she can do for him.

I would say that all this also applies to the FDS "H"VM, except that the quality of the guy does matter very much. They basically want a high quality guy with low self esteem who treats her as if she was the best thing since sliced bread.

FDS take this as "a mark of high quality" because they are autistic and can't see any other way to determine a man's quality except by blunt force wealth extraction.

They also apparently want men but don't know WHY they want men, like "What's the benefit of being with a man?" Well if you don't know then why the fuck are you even dating, you're saying you don't actually /know/ what you want beyond a very vague idea of "HVM" that mostly boils down to money and creature comforts, ie you're not exactly a high quality person yourself.

In FDS case, I suspect most of them suffer from "political incelism." Basically, feminist ideology convinces them that there's some kind of gender war going on that they have to "win," as a result removing their ability to have an actual connection with any man.

At the end of the day, there aren't (and aren't supposed to be) a whole lot of tangible benefits to being with somebody beyond "emotional needs."

So if being with someone doesn't fulfill some kind of emotional need, then there is no point. You're not supposed to get a boyfriend to give you money, you get a boyfriend because it gives you emotional support. Like you're supposed to feel better with him than without him.

If that's not happening, then there's no purpose being with anybody really. Whatever time you waste dating is exactly that, wasted, that you could have spent making yourself financially independent.
