Anyone else hate hookup culture?

I’m a 26M, been single for about 5-1/2 years because I cannot stand hookup culture and can’t trust anyone as a result of it. I find it disgusting to have intercourse with lots and lots and lots of people you barely know. As I get older the pressure to find a soulmate gets harder and fewer.

I’m sick and tired of the toxicity of American society and even more so disappointed that people even act like so. (No offense to anyone with high BC, it’s just that I personally don’t want a partner with high BC for many reasons).

At this point I just have to ask, are there any people out there with low BC anymore, or am I just sh*t out of luck. Please tell me there’s people out there with some sense and respect left!

Let us discuss a concept of the "slut" slightly beyond n-count. This supposes that having high-n is a symptom of sluttiness, which is actually the inability to transform sexual encounters successfully into LTRs. It is taken from the Red Pill rule of "women gatekeep sex, men gatekeep commitment." Meaning that sluts are made when men continuously do not want to commit, in situations where the woman is looking for an LTR (so this excludes ONS and hookups in which bother partners only expect something short term).

What is a slut?

Will the correct answer to this question make this apparent contradiction go away? I contend that it will. To answer this question, we must remember one fundamental truth about the sexual marketplace: Women are the gatekeepers of sex, and men are the gatekeepers of relationships. When we think of a slut as a woman with a high count of sexual partners, we must be aware of what this implies.

First, that she has allowed men through the gate of sex many times. Second, that she has been allowed, by men, through the gate of relationships very few times... for otherwise, she would have slowed down her pace of acquiring new partners considerably.

Now we are ready to answer the question.

A slut is a woman whose sexual market value consists mostly of sexual availability, and little else.

Or, equivalently,

A slut is a woman who does not have the ability to turn sexual encounters into relationships.

Looked at in this way, of course men don't want to commit to sluts. The very definition implies it.

High partner counts are a symptom of sluttiness, not its cause. Sluts acquire high partner counts not because they "open their legs too easily", but because the men they have coupled with do not wish to stay... and so they must, once again, find a new man.

A slut is pumped and dumped many times. But it is being dumped, not being pumped, that makes a woman a slut.

Does being a pornstar mess up someone’s body quickly?

This I can probably give some useful context to, because two people in my close friend group are legitimate pornstars (they are a couple but work with others). I have no judgement against it, but it means I have had years of getting the unvarnished truth of the industry from both of them....and before someone asks, no I won’t identify and yes, I asked their permission to post.

⁠Industry pay/stress. Everyone assumes you get paid a absolute bundle and that’s all you need to know; but that’s a very small minority. Pay can be dinged for so many reasons such as cuming slightly too quickly, not cuming quickly enough, muscle definition not being quite enough on the day, signing up before the other parties have (the later you join when they are casting, the more latitude you get to ask for more money) and many others. It’s not to say all production companies have the same rules, but there is significant overlap. There’s also a lot of pay bias depending on what you’re filming; straight sex is always lower on the banding than anal, gay (male) earns more again, degradation tends to band up again, incredibly arduous and physically taxing tends to go up further.....the problem being that there’s a bit of weird gender train here. Men used to (and sometimes still do) get paid more than women for the same work, but now there is a lot more visibility and fame for female stars, their pay often outstrips mens, but they get a flat rate so only if it’s something incredibly rough or degrading do they get more, there’s there’s much pay disparity. It means some stars will do more and more taxing and debating work to get that bag, and that does take a mental/physical toll, aka aging you hard and fast.

2) Physical health. For obvious reasons, their health is a blessing and a curse. STD testing is mandatory, but there are companies who are lax and push the reporting time or fudge numbers to meet time demands, which puts performers at risk. For male stars, there’s a big need to be able to get hard and stay hard....but when you’re banging for 3/4/5 hours, that’s difficult; as such there is a BIG trend for injectable erectile drugs, libido boosters, vasodilators, and other means to help them keep up. If they find they can’t anymore, some resort to penile metal or inflatable implants for keeping it up, and a main line into the uretra to pump synthetic semen through. As a result of all the mechanical action they do, and the women have to take, vaginal and anal tearing, bruising, soreness, joint pain, muscle pain, torn ligaments, bruising, organ damage from drugs, and more are very common and this really does long term harm and can (and does) disable performers young. Some performers develop a literal allergy to latex, surfactants and chemicals used in lube through occupational exposure, their skin gets sore, chapped and cracked through industrial lighting and constant friction, their faces often show the toll their body is going through.

3) Mental health. One person who I was introduced to by the couple above, is very well known in the field as a female star. We had a genuine and earnest conversation which was eye opening. She hadn’t had sex outside of her work for nearly 2 years, because it just feels like work to her. She has massive hip problems from, to quote her, “Getting crotch smashed for a decade”. She’s always sore from work, for days or weeks after and this then has a knock on effect on her mental wellbeing. It’s left her jaded, because the more prominent she became and the more she earned, the less people respected her and the less anonymity she has; she gets stared at in the street and gets fanmail stuck on her car constantly. She’s been refused entry at family venues by people who were happy to consume her work, but not happy to have her around. She can’t pick up her nephew’s from school, because parents recognise her (and some of the teenage kids do too). She’s been spat at in the street. She received a lot of fan mail, but nearly as much hate mail too. She’s been stalked by viewers before (one is now serving jail time). She says it’s the most isolating experience and if she could have a do-over, she’d rather work at McDonald’s for the rest of eternity instead. That is going to have a massive impact.

4) Social issues. Tailing on from the above, there are problems there. A lot of stars become ostracised from family and friend groups, basically being turned into pariahs for their work. The male friend mentioned above has been excommunicated from his church, his parents refuse to see or talk to him, his kids have been bullied because of what his parents do, and there’s no way to put the toothpaste back in the tube after that. The female friend has no support network outside of close friends; because they either leer at her, make sexually charged comments and assume she’s easy because she gets filmed doing something that most people do thousands of times in the comfort of their own home. Her family completely disowned her once she got big, but occasionally dangle a carrot of ‘reconnection’ whenever they want something (normally money); they are very happy to take the compensation for this labour, but deem the labour unacceptable. Friends are very few and far between because they know most people have zero self control and will just watch everything and fap/rub themselves into oblivion, or judge them hard. This circle of friends they are in (and of which I’m a member) won’t watch their work, it’s a respect thing; but it’s hard to work out who you can trust to draw that line with.

Overall, it’s not a glamorous job. The physical, mental, social and psychological impact is huge; and it’s a play off of deciding if you’re happy to take that compromise. A lot of them are mentally and physically impacted, and that damage can mess up your life for the rest of your days if you’re not well equipped to deal with it. So yes, there’s a lot of reasons why it messes you up, but most people don’t see past pay and physical injury.

Women's n count wouldn't be as much of an issue if her prospective long-term partners received the same quality and quantity of sex as the previous short-term ones.

This is a reminder to stop looking at the N count as if the sex of the partner didn't matter. The D count is a separate metric and that's the metric many actually care about.

Women care more about body count than men do.

Having a high body count doesnt really impact women at all IRL. Those women date and get married with 0 issue while virgin/inexperienced men are seen as undateable without any other trait being known. Its an instant turn off. Every time the question gets asked on this sub women prove it to be true and most women feel the exact same

If you meet a girl off a dating app or at a bar and she’s over 25 and mostly single. Odds are it’s more than 20 and often 50. No girl is reporting that, but I would estimate most girls I know that would meet a random guy are in that range.

If a girl is single and goes out or uses dating apps 8-15 guys a year just showing up. Single girls have dating lives many guys dream about.
