Met an 89 year old woman at the deli today, sharp as a tack. I got a 2:1 on my degree!! Really happy esp since I was at a 2:2 in my second year. I had to put in more effort this year and im happy I did do well (despite procrastinating a lot during crucial times) Still dont know what to do next tho And i haven't told my parents yet since im outside. I want to tell them in person, im sure theyd be happy!

I can't really disagree with him. He also refuses to track macros and thinks eating healthy and working out will be sufficient. Hmm hope so

Kitty update!!!!

Well, she has diabetes. We're going to try her on a diet alone for a week because perhaps it was caught early enough. If that doesn't help (which is likely) she'll have to stay on that diet and get insulin shots twice a day.

So, it's not great, but at least it's something that's manageable and isn't causing her imminent death.

Think I'll be taking kitty to the vet today. She's older (13 or 14 idr) and she's been drinking a lot lately, I didn't think much of it cause we recently switched her from wet to dry food. But in the last couple days her drinking has increased a lot. She drank 2 bowls yesterday and this morning the bowl was totally dry, I just filled it yesterday evening. We have an indoor dryer vent (a covered cup of water to catch the lint) and my boyfriend found her trying to drink out of it this morning. She's also been acting a little strange, shes been spending her time alone, in a different room than usual. And the past 2 nights my boyfriend woke up in the middle of the night to pee, and he's found her sleeping in the bathroom. She almost never goes in the bathroom, we've lived here for 4 years and she just doesn't go there.

And in the 20 minutes of my boyfriend filling up her bowl this morning she's drank almost all of it

Edit: cat is at the vet. Going to take urine and blood. Thinking either diabetes or kidney problems are most likely ATM.

Last year, I made friends with a girl from work. She's incredibly attractive, but I never made a move on her because of a handful of reasons (I'm 28, she's 20; she has daddy issues; she's openly promiscuous). At any rate, she asked me for my number and we went on a lot of outings that were never openly stated to be dates. I met her mother and she, along with our mutual friends from work, kept trying to talk her into dating me seriously. Ultimately, we remained close friends, to the point where we talked on the phone two nights a week, and met up once a week outside of work. This went on for about 6 months, she had two boyfriends during this time. In January, she broke up with her boyfriend and started making moves on me. In February, she asked me to kiss her, and I did. This is sorta embarrassing, but that kiss was a REALLY big deal for me; she's the second girl I've ever kissed. I started dancing in the parking lot after it happened. That kiss wound up to be a major mistake, she told me she regretted it and started dating someone new less than a week later. She then began standing me up for our hangouts. After the third time, I went no contact. She moved with the new boyfriend to a city about an hour's drive from where I live. A bunch of my friends from work would still go to hang out with her every once in a while, I had no interest in joining them. Didn't hear from her in all the time since March.
Two days ago, she texts me out of the blue. She's texted little snippets about what was happening, and I've had a chance to ask my friends from work what she's been up to. What she's told me and what my friends have told me didn't quite match. She wants to drive up to me to have lunch on Wednesday. I've already agreed to go, but I have sooooo many mixed feelings about this. I've definitely missed her as a friend. I've completely put my romantic interest for her in the grave, but I'm worried that meeting her again will resurrect that spark. The whole leaving me in the lurch thing makes me think she won't even show up. If I could live with myself afterwards, I would simply stand her up. Most of all, I'm hating myself for my lack of agency in the entire relationship I've had with this girl. Arguably, she is using me for an emotional tampon and I get nothing but wasted time for it. I plan to sit down with her (assuming she even shows up), eat a meal with her as friends, listen to everything she has to say while nodding my head, and then tell her we can't hang out anymore. Even if she were to apologize for everything, I don't think I could find that apology sincere. Plus, I'm already going to quit my job and leave on a three month vacation to visit family halfway across the country, so I couldn't maintain a relationship with her if I wanted to.
So yeah, that's what I've been freaking out about for the past two days. Feels good to write it all out though. AMA about the whole thing, and advice is welcome.

TL;DR: Stacy played me like a damn fiddle. I ghosted. She's trying to insert herself back into my life and I don't understand anything anymore.
