Can’t speak for other women—I despise the alpha macho arrogant archetype. I like a guy who is quietly secure in himself, a good listener, and an empathetic partner. I also am not at all attracted to the ultra hipster too-cool archetype. I can’t be that cool.

A man that is incredibly insecure, repeats abusive behaviours from one relationship to the next, is entitled and lives their life with the expectation that they shouldn't have to take responsibility or face the consequences of their mistakes or choices. Lies continuously, steals, has the my way or the high way attitude, is bad with money, walks away from their child/children and then goes on to have more with someone else, only to leave that relationship too because "he wasn't the no.1 priority anymore". Lives off their parents money. Acts like a man child and won't cut the apron strings from his parents. Is a coward. Chooses a habit, whether that be gaming, drinking, gambling, drugs over everyone and everything else. Doesn't have a personality and just moulds himself to whatever he thinks is gonna make him look better. Puts others down to make himself feel better. Doesn't have any friends that aren't online friends that he has never met.

For me personally? Basically a Red Pill man lol. It’s extremely important to me that my partner and I have values that align.

Universally? There is no right or wrong answer to this, people all value different things in a partner so it’s hard to make generalizations about what a universal red flag would look like. I think the most obvious characteristic that most women prefer to avoid is someone who is abusive. However what actually constitutes as abuse, and where they draw the line between acceptable and unacceptable behavior, will still not be the same for every woman. For some people that’s actually having DV charges. But for others it might be controlling behavior, like trying to police what kind of clothes she wears.

Y'all realize that asking humans for universal agreement on literally anything is an impossible task, right?

-history of violence and/or is a felon

-history of cheating

-cannot control emotions

-doesn't clean up after themselves

-lies (unless making a story funnier)

-sense of entitlement

-negging, even the slightest amount

-unkind to people that do not directly benefit them

-using the term 'alpha' when not discussing wolves

-racist, homophobic, misogynistic, etc.

You should ask what makes a man bad partner or just undesirable dating-wise, because the question in your title and questions in your posts are very different.

Similar things that make a woman a bad partner: poor morals, behavior inconsistent with his values, addictions, criminal records, history of cheating or abuse (as a perpetrator), poor communication, lying, DT traits, having kids with multiple different women etc.

Archetypes I’d personally avoid: “bad guys”, i.e. criminals, cheaters, abusers, just men with highly reckless behavior, men who are into manosphere, addicts, older virgins/struggling men with FOMO, men who claim that all their exes were crazy bitches, hunters, conservative men, traditional or religious men etc. It’s mostly about incompatibility or a lack of respect.

If we are talking about intrinsic traits, I don’t like men who lack decency. Striving to go the right way is my family’s motto. The ability to repent rather than justify would be important. I am generally more comfortable with men who embody Christianity since that’s the environment I grew up in. Other women can choose whomever. Not all of them share my values, and that’s alright.

There is definitely no "one size fits all" answer for this. I'll give you what I think, though, in terms of things I avoid.

I'd want him to at least have a college degree.
Anybody who works as a first responder. No military, cops, firefighters, etc.
Pilots.
Anybody with a criminal record
No drive/ambition
Bad with finances/money.
Ideally, Catholic, but Christian at the minimum. I couldn't date someone who is secular or a different religion.

A bad man at a societal level? Or as a friend? As a romantic partner? I’m assuming romantic partner.

I can’t tell you universal traits as there are plenty of women dating abusive, neglectful, fat, unattractive, lazy, unempathetic, unmotivated and unambitious men. I can only say for my own sake.

'Bad' is pretty broad, but usually when I hear 'bad' I take that as 'irredeemable' or otherwise 'perpetually dangerous to be around'.

So the main things that make a guy 'bad' to me are

violent behavior and explosive temperment, especially of a sexual degree (rape, molestation, etc)
senseless cruelty, especially to animals and those weaker and smaller than him
selfish, entitled, and exploitive behavior, particularly to people serving him or doing him favors (service workers, parents, partner, etc).
emotionally immaturity and lack of emotional awareness

These are what immediately come to mind that makes a guy 'bad' to me. I prefer to use words that are more specific to their behavior though, since 'bad' is a bid loaded with metaphysical connotations (like I dont think there are 'good' and 'bad' people, per se, mainly people who are xyz trait. People can change and retrospect can change a person. Though sometimes behaviors are intolerable yada yada).
