Because patients are treated by professionals and not by other patients. Imagine two delusional mental health patients trying to argue with each other about reality. You guys need the healthy outside perspective because the world you dream up is not what the majority of men experience. You take legitimate concepts of mate selection and sexual behavior and twist them to fit your world view and then claim you just follow the truth.

Most people are average. Most people are in relationships. You can seem them EVERYWHERE. It must take so much effort to still believe in a world where all average men are single and sexless.

Here is my take on this. I actually sympathize with a lot of the men who are struggling because when I was young, I was in their exact same boat. I was lucky and lost my virginity relatively early in my teens, but I still struggled with shyness, social anxiety and low self esteem and ultimately depression.

The issue is that these afflictions can and do make you unattractive and also less likely to take the action that you need to take in order to be sexually successful as a man. For years I thought women just didn't find me attractive. The reality was that many did, but my own neuroses and insecurities made me ignore all the signs that I was constantly receiving from them.

I didn't have the ideal childhood. I grew up with an unpredictable, emotionally distant alcoholic for a father and a ball crushing but also anxiety driven mother. That combination can screw you up and make you feel the need to hide your flaws and imperfections, which makes it very hard to connect wjth other people normally.

But the biggest difference between me and a lot of the other guys I meet here, is that I was willing to do what it takes to escape this prison. I put myself out there, I gradually exposed myself to social situations to the point where shyness and social anxiety weren't an issue for me. I challenged my fears.

I understand that when you try to help someone who doesn't want to be helped you will get resistance and outright hostility. This is the default in this sub. The guys who are struggling don't really want help. It's more advantageous to stay in their little cozy prison of self pity. Unless they see that there are more disadvantages to that than advantages, they won't seek any real help.

Maybe don't come to a debate sub if you automatically believe that anyone that disagrees with you or has a different experience than you is lying.

Or actually, maybe go out in the real world some time and find out they are not lying.

Normal people don’t understand dating dynamics to the degree people on here understand them.

If I ask a person for advice in real life, I get the generic “Just be yourself”, “Just be confident”, and “Just make her laugh”.

Meanwhile some people on PPD can give you some actual useful advice, sometimes even backed by actual studies done on the subject.

I'm normal people who is content with his life and come here to hangout because this is a topic I like to debate.

I struggled quite a lot as a teen, and that mostly due to an hardcore blue pill education. Most of what I did to become normal again fits TRP's descriptions. So I think my input can be interesting to other men who have been raised by angry single mothers.

The problem is that there aren't a lot of normal people who are interested in debating so this sub is flooded with simpletons who come here just to troll or to rant. Though I do not come here to give advices I just come here to debate blue pillers and specifically women who could use some of my life experience to widen their perspective.

Had a young buck last year come into our gym. Skinny fat kid. Played more Madden than actually playing sports outside. He listened to me and my bros about lifting. He went from barely able to do the barbell to doing 1.5 times his BW on the squats and 1.25 on his bench. While adding 30 pounds. His school wrestling coach saw him and asked him to join the team. So he’s got a letterman jacket now. And strength. And confidence. And at least a few girls in is phone always texting him.
That’s what he did in 2022. Seen a bunch of dudes here, all year, complain about the advice and do nothing. What was their year like? If they had done just lifting they’d be stronger than are now.

Or the can keep acting like they are right and they know better. I don’t care.

It's not beneficial to try and seek their advice. Ask men instead, whether it's here or in more appropriate/male-friendly spaces. DM me if you ever need a hand!
