WNBA player Brittney Griner recently married her girlfriend Glory Johnson (who identifies as straight - WTF?). She's now filed for annulment, alleging that Johnson was cheating with her ex-boyfriend(s), and that she pressured Griner into marriage by getting pregnant via a sperm donor.

Johnson is demanding $20,000/month in child support from Griner as well as a $10,000 advance on attorney's fees.

Conclusion:

Speaking from a black knight perspective, I want to break out the popcorn when I see this sort of thing - women being subject to the rules men have been forced to live by. Will she be forced to cough up support for this child not related to her?

Now that same-sex marriage is becoming more common, it's going to be interesting to see how the family courts treat the resulting divorces. What I suspect is that the partner who seems more masculine and/or has the most money is going to be treated as the "oppressor" and forced to pony up for the more feminine partner, regardless of the actual genders of the parties involved.
