If you have commited to an LTR and feel tempted to cheat you also just end it because what point is there being an LTR if you do not want to be tied down and you have options?

The only rule of thumb is to stand behind your word. If you agree to be exclusive with a girl, then as a man, your honor and integrity is your word and you took affairs off the table.

From the point of view of plates, it isn't cheating, because as a man, you should have already let each and every girl know you aren't exclusive.

This goes for women as well. Cheating is cheating is cheating. It doesn't matter if it is just a kiss or just a flirty text or just light touching or just up the ass.

If you're asking about the man cheating, I personally think it's stupid and unnecessary. If you don't like a woman, don't waste your time and just drop her. You and your reputation both take a hit and my personal philosophy is that your reputation is kind of like your credit score; easy to fuck up but difficult to build up. I'd rather be known for being direct and valuing my time (amd others' time) than for being too afraid to tell someone I'm not into them anymore.

As for dealing with it, I've told women (including my LTR) that if they want to pursue something else, they can but not to expect me to stick around. Let me know so I don't waste my time. It's been an effective strategy for me.

Edit: I forgot to add that I make it my business to avoid women who are taken although some have slipped through the cracks. I've been with three women that, at one point or another, let me know they had boyfriends. I cut them off immediately since that overcomplicates my life.

We are not concerned with whether cheating is right or wrong, only about whether it's effective. In most situations it's probably more trouble than it is worth.

Where did this being a man of your word come from? How is that even part of a sexual strategy? You should only consider your reputation. If lying or cheating has a low probability of harming your reputation and a large upside (whatever that may be) then why not?

You're overthinking TRP. Use the knowledge provided to make whatever you want to happen, happen. If you like the idea of exclusive LTRs, make her work for it. TRP's stance is the lower your SMV, the harder EVERYTHING is. Improve your SMV and demand your women to be exclusive and HARD next if they disobey. You are the man, you define your boundaries and you ENFORCE them at all costs, even if you "really like this one"

As far as children go, I have one, its not all what its cracked up to be. Maybe it would be different if I had a son instead of a daughter, and the mother wasn't a complete psychopath from a broken-ass family (my story on finding TRP that I still haven't the balls to post)

If you Don't Take The Pledge, i.e., promise exclusivity, then you're not cheating. To wit, two of my plates know about each other, specifically, and that there are others. Another plate knows, generally, that there are others. One plate likely assumes there are others, but never brings it up.

Incidentally, women will share a high-value man, if they are comfortable that they are not going to get tossed out and left by the side of the road somewhere. Ex. the pate who I said "knows generally" was a part of a pair of "matching bedposts" that I used to have - I was dating her and her roommate. So she has only ever dated me when she has known, explicitly or implicitly, that I am dating others.

I don't cheat , I just make it clear from the beginning I don't seek exclusivity . That said, Red Pill isn't really concerned with commitment issues so much as strategy. There is too much morality tied up in that issue, and you won't really find a strong stance on it here either way.

Personally, I think a man should keep his word - it's a rare ability these days and it will not go unnoticed by your peers and superiors. If you say you'll be faithful, be faithful. If you say you'll try your best, try your best.

As far as cheating with a girl who is in a "LTR" while you're single? To each his own. I am not really comfortable doing that, it'd make me feel dirty after the deed, as if I had slept with tainted goods. But many men have no problem with it, and see it as "if not me then she's just going to go to the next guy and do it anyways, might as well get something out of it." If I'm in an LTR I am in an LTR because I see more value in a girl than simply sex. She adds value to my life because she's intellectual or she has connections or she will do things that help me on my journey.

If I simply want sex then I won't invest anymore into a girl than just plating her. If I find myself wanting to fuck other women to the point I'd cheat on my LTR then simply she's not adding enough value to my life.

I've cheated in the past and the truth was that I was deeply unhappy as a person and relied on sex for validation, deeply unhappy in my relationship and above all too afraid to close that relationship down and move on.

Personally, I wouldn't cheat. Probably couldn't even if I wanted to.

One thing I strongly believe though is that the whole "every woman is capable of cheating" should actually be changed to "all women are cheaters." That is, given the right circumstance. Some women put themselves or there, some don't so never/rarely get the chance to cheat. Some don't put themselves out there, but they're so hot that they get hit on so often and this eventually presents the right opportunity/circumstance for them to cheat.

So with this in mind I think if you feel you could cheat and get away with it (free conscience and not getting caught), why the hell not. Pretty sure one of the 48 laws of power is to safeguard your reputation, so remember that too.
